In real life everyone hates all of my favorite names!

Theodore (They Love Theo but think Theodore is crusty)

Romulus
Amyas / Amias
Caspian
Wilfred (VERY unpopular!)
Francis (VERY unpopular)
Paris (on a boy)
Jupiter
Bela (on a boy)
Snow (boy)
Augustus
Casper (the ghost of course we have everyone saying)
Hilda - This is THE MOST hated name ever. I've never met one person in real life that likes Hilda, and it seems pretty unpopular on here. Its my grandmothers name, but even she doesn't seem to like it!
"girly" names on boys, I love:
Emma (probably as a nickname for Emmanuel, but I just love it on a boy)
Jade
Paris
Robin
Wren (LOVE this at the moment, so does husband)
Madison
Mackenzie (though this is semi popular here for boys)

Jocelyn (LOVE this on a boy)

Ruby - very big GP for me. I love the idea of Ruby on a boy, maybe I could use Rubeus "Ruby". My husband actually likes it too!

Jocelyn for a boy is quite usual where I live, no-one blinks an eye when learning of a boy called that.Good name.
I can't quite get behind Ruby for a boy, but I do like Garnet, also a nice red jewel, and a better red than most rubies, in my opinion.
I don't dislike Hilda, though i likely wouldn't use it.At any rate, it's better than Hulda.I know a woman named that,though she's always called Huddie, and no wonder!

I love Theodore...it's my 3 year old's name and has been universally well received both before he was born (when people will say anything!) and since. Seriously, everyone young and old comments about how sweet/classy/refreshing it is. Here in Canada it's a win ;-)
I also really like Caspian, Wilfred, Augustus, Casper and Robin.
I agree Hilda gets no love...it's one of my grandmother's names as well and I think it's cute :)
