Year 1: We love to travel and see new places. This year we decided to go visit a place neither of us had ever been before so we went to Turkey!
Year 2: We couldn't wait to be parents but it hadn't happened yet so we decided to look into adoption. We ended up traveling to Uganda to adopt an 11 year old girl. Her name is Imani but we asked her if she would like to use that as her middle name and chose a more Americanized first name and she chose Kelly.
Year 3: Soon after we brought Kelly home we found out that we were expecting - twins. We ended up with a boy and a girl. We named the boy Liam Diego Gonzalez and the girl Naomi Margaret Gonzalez. Liam has curly brown hair and blue eyes. Naomi has wavy black hair and grey eyes.
Year 4: We decided to take a family vacation but with two small children we thought it would be best to stay within the country so we drove from our home in South Carolina to Maine for 3 weeks.
Year 5: We were blessed with twins yet again this year. They are both girls but they are not identical. We named the girls Grace Athena and Genevieve Rhea "Jenny". Grace has straight brown hair and blue eyes - just like her father. Jenny has curly brown hair like me and blue eyes like Louis.
Year 6: Sadly this year Louis' grandfather died from a heart attack. Louis was very upset and the children really miss Pop-pop but we are all doing better with coping.
Year 7: Our family is growing ever larger with the birth of a boy. We named him Guillermo Garrison Gonzalez. Garrison being Louis' middle name and Guillermo was the name of Louis' grandfather who died last year. We call the baby Gary though since Guillermo is so difficult to use in America. Gary has straight brown hair and hazel eyes.
Year 8: This year we moved into a bigger house to accomadate our growing family with the birth of our daughter Rosalind Maria Gonzalez. Rosie's hair is straight and brown and her eyes are brown as well.
Year 9: We travel to Mexico to visit Louis' aunts and uncles on his father's side that live there. They were all so excited to see Louis' again since they hadn't seen him since he was 12 and they couldn't wait to met me and the kids. The kids loved playing with cousin's their own age.
Year 10: Shortly after we returned home from Mexico I started feeling sick and it turns out I was pregnant again. Late this year we welcomed another daughter Sasha Demeter Gonzalez. Sasha has straight brown hair and blue eyes.
Year 11: We look back at the first few years when we had no children and did not think it was going to happen when we started looking into adoption of Kelly and laugh. We don't regret adopting Kelly, we love her so much, can you believe she is a sophmore in college? But we laugh at how naive we were to think it would never happen. Look at us now! This year we brought home our ninth, tenth, and eleventh child - identical girls and a boy! Anneliese Nicole, Zoe Alexandria, and Dante Ross were welcomed additions to the family. Anne and Zoe have straight brown hair and grey eyes, while Dante has similar hair but blue eyes.
Year 12: We were trying to be careful with so many children already but I guess we were meant to reproduce like rabbits. Another daughter was born this year with curly brown hair and grey eyes. We name her Lily Juliet.
Year 13: You can just guess what happened this year. We must be on a roll or something. Tess Briar was born with curly brown hair and grey eyes. This year our oldest Kelly graduated college. She majored in interior design.
Year 14: Geez, we're giving the Duggar's a run for their money. This year straight brown haired, brown eyed Rebecca Aurora was born.
Year 15: For the sixth year in a row we had a baby. Soledad Louise Gonzalez was born with wavy black hair and green eyes.
Year 16: Our family got larger again - but no I didn't have another baby. My womb is really appreciating the break. However a stray dog wandered into our yard and try saying no to so many little faces. We kept Daisy the beagle.
Year 17: I love art and never had much time to pursue it and while I still don't have the time I figured if I didn't now I never would so I started taking night classes on art. Kelly also got married to a man named Devin James McAllister who is an architect.
Year 18: This year we tried something a little new. Louis and I had 3 whole days without any children and went to a bed and breakfast.
Year 19: Rosalind won a goldfish at the carnival and named it Squeaky (I have no idea why). More exciting was that we became grandparents. Kelly and Devin had identical twin boys they named them Anthony Zachariah and Gregory Alexander.
Year 20: Kelly and her family has gotten a black lab named Crusher.
