Though the sound is pretty enough, I know a Nina that is nothing short of obnoxious, so i could never even think of using it!

I love the sound of Nina but really dislike that it means "girl" so I'd be much more likely to use it as a short form of something else (Janina, Antonina, etc.).

I don't have time to suggest mns but ideally, I'd say something with three or four syllables that doesn't begin with a vowel.

I like the name in theory but it also kinda reminds me of an ambulance siren!

Nina was a name of a cousin by marriage. Before I meet her, I never really heard of the name previously. I really dislike the name, but not because of her.

Nina is fun :) Its well known and suits any age. Nice choice.
