[Opinions] Dionne Quintuplet's Birthday Today
The Dionne Quintuplet's birthday was 75 years ago today! If you haven't heard of them, they were the first quintuplet's to survive their infancy, and were identical girls at that.Their names are:
Annette Lillian Marie Dionne (Allard)
Cécile Marie Emilda Dionne (Langlois)
Émilie Marie Jeanne Dionne (died August 6, 1954)
Marie Reina Alma Dionne (Houle) (died February 27, 1970)
Yvonne Edouilda Marie Dionne (died June 23, 2001)What do you think of the names? I think the parents originally were thinking of Marie as a first name so they all ended up having it as one of their names.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dionne_quintuplets

re:MarieAt that time, and indeed until not too long ago, it was the custom in French-speaking Canada to include the name Marie in all girls' names, and Joseph for the boys.
Their names are indeed pretty! And absolutely typical of 75 years ago.
edited for typo.
