[Opinions] Penelope
I think I can persuade my husband to like Penelope if I try hard enough. He likes Penny, but he says he definitely prefers the nickname to the full version.WDYT? I've always had a soft spot for this name; my favorite combo is Penelope Jane. You can suggest other MN's, if you want. I'm feeling very open today, so feel free to get creative. :)

It's beautiful; I love it. Penelope Jane is perfect, but I also love Penelope Margaret and Penelope Margot.

Oh joy! Another fan of Penelope Jane. That's my favourite Penelope combo too. Like Miranda Jane it's Brit boarding school slightly retro chic. I love it.
I like Penelope alot.
Penny is a cute nn.
Lately Poppy appears to be preferred for newborn Penelopes - I've seen at least two in recent London "Daily Telegraph" BAs.

I love Penelope, but I have a good feeling at the rate I'm going I won't get to use it. I love Penelope Iris. Penelope Jane is also nice.

Penelope has really been growing on me lately. Especially since I met a little girl named Penelope nn Pippi - it was just so sweet seeing it on a real kid!I really like the feel of Penelope Jane. Penelope is a lot of name and Jane balances it nicely. My favourite combo for it at the moment is Penelope Harriette.

I like it. And I think it could be an easy compromise if you get to name her Penelope, you know, just for the sake of having a more formal name to fall back on. ;) And then he can just call her Penny anyway. Everybody wins!Penelope Jane is OK, but Jane feels a bit filler to me. Since you are feeling open, I am just going to make random suggestions without checking your PNL:Penelope Louise
Penelope Elise
Penelope Cecile
Penelope Maren

My youngest neice is called Penelope, though the family mainly call her Penny apart from DH who always calls her Miss Penelope, blessIf he likes Penny then you should be able to meet a compromise

Ah, I love Penelope, nn Nell myself! But Penny is sweet as pie. Penelope is one of those names that I don't think I'd ever use myself, but would love to see it on another.Penelope Jane is adorable and proper - fabulous combo! I like the smooth sensibility of Jane, it balances the frilliness of Penelope. I'd probably stick to a MN like that too.Penelope Mabel
