I don't hate it, but wouldn't use such an "out there" name if I wasn't
absolutely in love with it. You're probably going to spend your life (and *his* life) explaining why he was named after Occam's Razor and
William of Ockham; it doesn't seem worth it if you're not absolutely convinced.
Moreover, it really doesn't fit your daughter's name, which is classic and relatively popular. If you ever have another child, you might have trouble finding a name that fits both
Eleanore and Occam.
What other names have you considered? It might help us give suggestions.
