I was reading an article about this family who has welcomed three consecutive sets of naturally conceived twins in four years. I thought I would share the names. So, before any of the twins, the parents hadPaeteaus
AliceFirst set of twins:Hailyn
HannahSecond set of twins:
Kai
KittyThird set of twins:
Felix
FrancineSo, which set do you like best?

Paeteaus - Unusual. It sounds Greek, but I don't think it is. I'm curious how they came up with it.
Alice - Lovely. I'm not sure that I would choose one "s" sound name right after another, but it is fine.
Hailyn - It clashes with the milder and more classical Hannah and Alice. It feels even more foreign to Paeteaus because, while the former is getting creative with antiquity, Hailyn is like a pop song, which is harmless enough, but came in like a wrecking ball.
Hannah - soft, gentle, religious, a little too meek for me personally but nice.
Kai - King Arthur's knight has entered the chat.
Kitty - Very cutesy. She is the only one with a forever 2-years old name.
Felix - I guess it goes with Kitty? It could fit in with a lot of naming styles, so it works with the group and sort of bridges some of the gaps.
Francine - Fine. It makes me think of the character in the animated tv series "Arthur," but there is nothing wrong with it.

Alice, Felix, and Francine won out there. I don't really have anything nice to say about the others.

I'm not wild about any of them really. I feel like there's one lucky twin and one bleh name in each set.I guess Kitty and Kai is my 'happy' medium. But I don't really like Kitty, or Kai, I just dislike them both less than I dislike Hailyn and Francine.

What is Paeteaus? I typed it into google, duckduckgo and bing and I got like three articles about this family, a couple of additional misspelled German results (e.g. it found "paete" where in the scanned book it was actually "Poete") and only google showed me lots of, possibly auto-generated, German porn titles. I find it worrying that whatever algorithm decided to serve me these results was really convinced these were two words even though I typed in one and that it was definitely German - makes me think it may really exist or at least be a slight misspelling of a naughty German phrase.Does anyone know where these parents could have gotten this name from? I would feel much more at ease if I didn't give up German and could really research better if it could possibly really exist or what about it caused these results to be generated the way they were. Either way, less than ideal search results.
Otherwise I love how chaotic this sibset is, I don't hate any of the other names.

I tried searching for Paeteaus too. Google wanted to correct it to "Plateaus" or plateau.Looking for "Paet" as a word root made me come up with the following.
- Paet as an Anglo-Saxon surname.
- Tagalog word paet, which means chisel. Paete is a province of Laguna, Philippines.
If the parents are Filipino, then maybe they wanted to honor a place that meant a lot to them. Since -aus could mean from, Paeteaus would be "from Paete."

I love big sibsets that are all over the place, style-wise, so this just made my day.

Wow. I cannot stand when people give matching names to real-life twins as though they aren't even separate human beings. And the names themselves... Paeteaus? Hailyn? I suppose my favorite of this set would be Felix and Francine, but they are still way too matchy.

That sibset is completely all over the place.

I dislike matching initials. And since I also dislike most of the names, I'll be eclectic and choose Alice and Kitty. In my world, but clearly not in theirs, Kitty would be a nn for Katharine.

My friends had two sets in a row and said nope and he quickly got a vasectomy.I hate that each set starts with the same letter. Paeteaus sounds like a dinosaur. Individually I only like Hannah and Kai. Alice is okay. I wish Kitty was a nickname. If I have to pick a favorite set, I’d go with Kai and Kitty.

I would never have thought to see a Paeteaus and a Hailyn in the same family. They've got a very eclectic taste in names.

What an odd mix of normal and not-so-normal names for a group of siblings.I like Felix & Francine best, as they, at least, fit together in style.I only like Alice, Hannah, and Kai of the other names. Kitty is not my style, nor is Hailyn. Paeteaus, though, is certainly interesting, and sounds/looks like a name for some old Greek god of the Greek Myth.

I don’t like any of the sets, but if I had to choose a set I dislike the least, Felix & Francine.Individually, I love Kai, I like Alice & Felix, Hannah is okay.

I don't really like any of them. Hannah is ok.

Don't like the same initials, Hayley would have been better than Hailyn, Hannah is nice, Kai is ok, Felix and Francine are ok. Alice is nice, don't like the other names

My first thought is this is a weird mix match of names. I'm usually for parents going for whatever they like but Paeteaus and Hannah in the same sibset is odd to me haha
