Ivy. I think Ivy Jane is cute.:)

Iva because I confess all I think of with Ivy is poison ivy. Wasn't that the name of a movie several years ago?

I like Iva better if it's pronounced (ee-vuh). I'd say Iva Gail Elizabeth or Iva Laine. or Iva Niccol (pronounced just like Nicole). It has a nice foreign sound to it.

I like both, but Iva (EYE-vah) seems like it would mature better and seems more elegant and lovely, imo. But I do love Ivy as well--except for the whole "Poison Ivy" connection. :-/

It's a tough one...I love them both, but right now my absolute favorite is Ivy Ophelia

IvyI adore Ivy Elisabeth, but as I'm hesitant to use Elisabeth because it's thought of as a filler mn, I also really like Ivy Susannah or Ivy Eleanor.

I like them both. I guess I favor Ivy for a child born today, because Iva seems more "dated" (serious, old) to me and Ivy seems "antique" (sweet and romantic). Ivy Demetra was what I came up with when fantasizing about naming my daughter Ivy (my husband didn't like the name, because of associations with "poison ivy" so we didn't use Ivy).

I love Iva (I prefer Ivah). My favorite combo (and one that I would consider using for my daughter) is Ivah Winifred.
