My name is Laura i dont like my name (i think its a bit boring) Lauren is too popular there at lots of Laurens in my school and Laurel's a bit to frilly for me. The name Alaura is really growing on me though.

I love Laura for sentimental reasons (Laura Ingalls Wilder), and Laurel is a beautiful nature name. Lauren, however, is so boringly, stereotypically 80s - I went to school with literally dozens of Laurens. It has no attraction for me whatsoever.

Lauren was SO COMMON for girls born around the time I was born, I looked in my sister's yearbook once (she was born in 1987) and there were 15 Lauren's in her class! That's insane! Personally I strongly dislike Lauren, it's trendy and dated and BORING. I LOVE Laura though, I don't find it dated. Laura is a classic, good for someone of any age. I would love to meet a baby Laura. I also love Laurel, it's a cute nature-y name that isn't cheesy. Laura Grace - pretty, but Grace is a very common middle name.
Laura Catherine - very pretty
Laura Violet - LOVE this!
Laura Caitlin - dislike this, Caitlin is not a favorite.
Laura Nicole - Nicole is filler and tacky to boot.
Laura Anna - doesn't flow at all. What about Laura Annabel?
Anna Laura - doesn't flow either, Anna Laurel would work. I love Anna!

I love Lauren and really like Laura. I think they can still be used.
I'm not a fan of Laurel, but I think it's from 2 people I knew named that. They both gave me negative images of the name.

i LOVE the name Laura its cute short and you can't really shorten it. I think the name Laurel is a really bad name though.

I really like Laura and Laurel. My sister's name is Laura (Laura Noel) and my cousin's new baby is Laurel (Laurel Elizabeth), so perhaps they've grown on me because of that. :) I also love Laure, if that interests you.I think Laura Catherine is gorgeous. Very strong and smart sounding. I like all of your Laura combos, but that one in particular is my favorite.

I wouldn't call Laura or Lauren dated, I'm impartial to both but if I had to I'd use them without too much complaint. Something about Laurel rubs me the wrong way, its the most refreshing of them all to see, but using wise I'd go with Lauren or Laura. If that made any sense! :)Laura Catherine and Lauren Rachel are my favourites :) Very nice.

I don't think Laura is dated at all- it's a classic, and is still perfectly usable. Lauren isn't particularly dated either, it's just not very nice, IMO. But Laurel is definitely the best of the three!Out of your combos, I like:
Lauren Catherine
Lauren Grace
Hannah LaurenLaura Grace
Laura Catherine
Laura Violet

I don't think any of these names are dated. I know plenty of young children and babies still being named this, and nearly all my friends are either a Lauren or a Laura. If anything, I'd be worried about how common and overused it is. That I know of, there are 3 Laura's living on the same road as me.Laurel is a nice alternative, and I've never met anyone called this. It's very pretty.Of your combos I like: Lauren Rachel, Laura Caitlin and Laura Nicole.

Laura, Lauren and Laurel are certainly not dated. It seems that every other girl I meet, no matter whether university, high school, middle school or preschool aged, is named Lauren. Laura, though not as ubiquitous as Lauren, is still far from being stale. I would guess that for every Laura I know, I know six Laurens (and Laurans/Laurins/Lauryns). Laurel probably sounds the freshest of the Laur- names. I know only two (one's in high school, one's a young adult) and so I'd rather see another Laurel than Laura or Lauren (especially Lauren). As for the combos, there are lots of nice (if dreadfully boring and plain) names, but I'm not dazzled by any of the combos. They look exactly like the combos I'd expect to see in birth announcements around my area. The only one that I really like (and I love it, actually) is Anna Laura. Laura Violet is ok, too.Suggestions (which can be reversible):Davina Lauren
