Ella
WDYT of Ella? Too popular?I used to be so in love with Ella before it got 'popular', heard it again recently on an older lady and I'm starting to like it again. It has that old lady charm I love. Do you know any Ella's how old are they? What are they middle names? Siblings?

I know 0 Ella's. I love the name! It is so sweet & almost musical sounding. It is in my top 3 if I have another daughter (DH only likes it as a nn though).

Ella's my sister, she was named before some celebrity made it popular, It's a good name, and I think it works on all ages. It really isn't bad to have a popular name.

My late great aunt is Ella Marie. (Siblings Alma, Robert, Harold, Walter, Arthur and Beatrice) She'd be around 100 if she was still alive. There's a six year old Ella at work, and I think two co-workers have daughters named Ella. The six year old is the oldest of that group. It's also a good nn for names like Isabella/ Arabella/ etc, which are also in now. I don't know any of their mns.

I don't think it's that popular. It's OK but I prefer Ellie. I know a four year old Ella. She has three sisters, Rachel, Grace and Jenny.

I do know a 2-year-old Ella Sophia, and I helped choose her name (actually I wanted Eleanor Sophia, but Ella was the mother's final choice, which I also liked). Popularity be damned! It is a beautiful name.
