Noah
What do you think of this name for a girl?NOAH (2)
Gender: Feminine
Usage: Biblical
Pronounced: NO-a [key]
Derived from the Hebrew name ðåÉòÈä (No'ah) meaning "motion". In the Old Testament this is the name of a daughter of Zelophehad.

I only like it for a male, not a female.

Yay! Someone else who likes Noah on a girl! I've become so bored with it used on a boy, which is sad. However, I think it is fresh and spunky on a girl, though I would spell it Noa, just so people could distinguish between the two forms.

It's my name! But if you like it on a girl, please, please spell it Noa. It's prettier and it doesn't look like a boy name. And I think it's very pretty, though extremely common here, unheard of everywhere else, so I wouldn't recommend it.

My nephew is Noah Jonathan (3), so naturally, I see the name as a male one. If used for a girl, I much prefer Noa.

I only like Noah for a boy. I perfer the spelling Noa if you are going to use it for a girl though.

I think 'Noa' would be better for a girl. Love it for a boy, though!
