Absolutely! Margot is a great name. I like names featuring the letter 'V', so Margot Violette, Margot Genevieve, Margot Guinevere, Margot Virginie etc would all be great.

I think Margot is fantastic and definitely capable of standing on its own (I sat this partly, probably, because I like it quite a bit better than Margaret, but I think Margot is plenty substantial in and of itself).Of your combos, I particularly enjoy:Margot Adele
Margot Albertine - normally I wouldn't say I'm an Albertine kind of girl, but this really works
Margot Alice
Margot Bellisant
Margot Cecilia
Margot Cecily
Margot Eugenia
Margot Eulalia - !! yay Eulalia!
Margot Fenella
Margot Ianthe - this is excellent (so excellent I almost want to steal it)
Margot Isadora
Margot Isidora
Margot Louisa
Margot Ottilie
Margot Philippa
Margot Susanna
Margot Tacita - ooh, nifty
Margot Thomasina - wow Thomasina is really cool here

I really, really dislike Margot. It's actually among my least favorites.I don't find the sound or look of it at all appealing.

HOLY S**T is that one comprehensive list of combos. And my favorite name is in there! (Cecilia)
I must say, you have impeccable taste.
And Margot is lovely, though I'm just slightly more attracted to the spelling Margaux, due to Margot's similarity to ergot and escargot. Also, I *LOVE*/Like:

I prefer the pronunciation mar-GO over the Swedish MAHR-got. I think it's quite ugly and dated in Swedish, but more youthful and beautiful in English/French.I like:
Margot Celestine
Margot Emmeline
Margot Hazel
Margot Vivienne

Love this name! My dad's co-worker is named Margot and I've always loved saying it. I like these three the best:

Yeah, it's what I'd possibly name my next daughter if I was going to have one. It makes me think of a woman who is assertive, brilliant, and good-humored (based on a Margo I know). Most of your combos seem too mincy for my taste. I like it with Julia, Sylvia, Vivian, Lydia, and Frances. Margot Cybele is pretty cool too. I'd probably use Margot Julia, Margot Victoria, or maybe Margot Carolee.

Margot is gorgeous, imo, but I am not French and I am afraid to appear pretentious by naming a daughter this. Nevertheless, I can play around with it here on BtN :) It IS substantial enough to use as a full name.Of your combos I like:Margot Antoinette - Maybe too similar to Marie Antoinette. Maybe the slight similarity is appealing. The flow is perfect, in any case.
Margot Cecilia - So pretty. She would be the quiet, curious girl that everyone falls in love with instantly.
Margot Juliet - For a more daring girl, methinks. Margot is so soft and the J and T in Juliet are so harsh and striking. I think it plays well off of itself.
Margot Mathilde - sometimes, alliteration adds such a spark to a name. This is definitely an instance of that! Oh, the french goodness of this name.
Margot Wilhelmina - Such a pretty looking name.
