[Opinions] Verity!
This name has been on my mind a lot, and I like the sound of Verity and the look. I like the nicknames Vera and Rita. I'm not a fan of virtue names but Verity is a good exception as well others like Mercy. WDYTO Verity? Combo ideas? Nicknames ideas?

I kind of like Verity. It's virtuey but not old-fashioned and has a bit of a badass vibe to it :)I like Vera as a full name, not necessarily as a nn for Verity. I don't really think Verity needs a nickname, but I suppose Vera is my favorite if I had to pick a nn. Either that or just V. I don't like Rita; it gives me a middle-aged-secretary vibe (and also reminds me of Rita Skeeter).Verity June

Speaking of Rita Skeeter, Verity was also a character in Harry Potter. She worked as an employee at Fred and George's shop!

I quite like Verity... not really inclined to give it a nn... unless just shortening it to get her attention in which case Ver would do.

I think Verity is gorgeous and spunky and unusual and all girl. My 6 yr old cousin is Verity Anne and I'm bummed that it's off limits for me.My Verity's nn's include Veri, Veggie, Vegity, Budge, Budgie, Ginger, Ginger Ninja, Freddy and Fred, among others. So ob. not all of those are linked to her given name, haha. She's never called Vera or Rita though. She's one of 5 girls and her sisters are Emily Victoria, Beatrice Alexandra, Felicity Elizabeth and Annabelle Catherine. I think Beatrice goes quite well with Verity in paricular.Verity Carys

One of my favorites, although lately I've been loving it a bit less for some reason. Still, I think it's gorgeous. I like Vera or Vita for nicknames. I think that all of the suggestions you've gotten so far have been lovely, but I particularly like Verity Sidonie, Verity Celeste (this was the first thing I typed up when I started to make a list of my own, but then I checked and saw that it had already been posted), Verity Jane (I think that this is the combo that I would use were I ever to use Verity. I know it's very similar to Calamity Jane and that would be a negative to most people, but I weirdly like that), and Verity Eseld. Verity Selah

Verity is actually one of my favorite virtue names. I never, ever hear it; in fact, I've never met one. Vera is the first nickname idea that came to my mind, which I see you've listed.ETA: I do also like the idea of Veri/Very as a nickname, actually moreso than Vera.

I love Verity so much! It's so fresh, pretty, and unusual.Vera is a possibility, but it's a little too much its own name... I'd probably go with Very or Ver. Not a Rita fan.Verity Astraea

Verity is really lovely. It's so fresh and green-and-pink, delicate/sharp; a lacey-edged carnation flower. Rita as a nickname is super, I never would have thought of that. I also kind of like the idea of "Very" (or Veri?) as a nickname. Kind of random and odd I know, but I bet a Verity could pull it off. I imagine a Verity as pretty kick-butt.combo ideas?Verity Sidonie
Verity Clio
Verity Cora
Verity Gloria
Verity Angela
Verity Cateline
Verity Cressida
Verity Constance ("constant truth" is a pretty neat meaning, but maybe too heavy?)
Verity Anne (maybe dull, but so pretty. Anne Verity too)

my cousinis Verity Anne! Snap.I think with a name like Verity (which I think is gorgeous and spunky and I'm bummed that its off limits for me) you can get away with a slightly dull, filler mn.
