[Opinions] Auden?
Was wondering what all your thoughts are on Auden as a first name. Would you rather see a male Auden or a female Auden? What impression/image does the name give you and what Auden combos can you come up with? Thanks in advance!

As in "W. H."?The first thing I think of is the poet W. H. Auden, often regarded as one of the best authors of the 20th century. I'd say that's a pretty good association. As for the name itself, it think it's nice. I like it better than most other "Au-" masculine names.

The first time I heard about it was in a book I was reading and it was a girl. That and the way it sounds similar to Audrey makes me think girl. She seems like a very quite and intelligent person. Auden Rose, Auden Sapphire, Auden Grace

Reminds me of W. H. Auden so it's all male to me.

I know a girl name Auden. And a few guys (same family) named Audenreid.I like it for either but especially for a girl. I much prefer it to the overused and bland Autumn.

I know a girl named Auden and I'd rather see it on a girl. It's very similar to Autumn so I think it might get confused with the more popular Autumn quite often. I prefer Autumn, but I also like Auden. No image, silver blue color which is unusual because most Au-names are orange/red.
