Pairing Info (if you're curious)

- The "Form Responses 1" sheet has everyone's direct responses to the optional survey.
- The "Alphabetical" sheet has the list of names per person, including the 10 names they liked, listed alphabetically. (I would copy-paste information in that format into a "list comparator" that found overlaps between lists.)
- The "matches" sheet shows the number of names for each pair of players that both liked. Dark red means that they have been paired in a previous Compromise Congrats and thus were not eligible to be paired. Outside of the grid is the total number of names that that player indicated liking.
Generally I prioritized best pairs for people with lower overall numbers, so that I would at least have a good baseline for each pair of a few names that they would both like. Matching on names in the "10 names you like" was also heavily considered. For instance, Millie/Silverstarswept was Millie's best pair and one of Silverstarswept's lowest ones by raw numbers (partly because Millie had the lowest number of names she liked on the survey and Silverstarswept had the most of the 18 respondents). Both of them put Octavia in their 10 names they like and had others in their 10 names that the other would consider using, though, so I felt it was a good pairing for both of them.
For example, for Jessamine and NobodyofConsequence's family in Round 1, Jessamine is naming a boy and NoC is naming a girl. I made their male namebank by putting in some of NoC's boys names from the "10 names you like" bit of the signup, and then adding in some of the boys' names I knew both Jessamine and NoC liked. I checked the "unisex" section of their surveys and found that they seemed to both like Robin for boys, and added that in. Then, I used the "Namehunter" feature from Nameberry with the names already in the namebank as inspirations, to fill it to 25 names. I would avoid using names that I was aware that at least one of them did not like enough to consider using (per the survey).

For example, for Jessamine and NobodyofConsequence's family in Round 1, Jessamine is naming a boy and NoC is naming a girl. I made their male namebank by putting in some of NoC's boys names from the "10 names you like" bit of the signup, and then adding in some of the boys' names I knew both Jessamine and NoC liked. I checked the "unisex" section of their surveys and found that they seemed to both like Robin for boys, and added that in. Then, I used the "Namehunter" feature from Nameberry with the names already in the namebank as inspirations, to fill it to 25 names. I would avoid using names that I was aware that at least one of them did not like enough to consider using (per the survey).
