Lately, I have really been liking the name Helena (he-LAY-na). What are your thoughts on this name?
What middle names would you give Helena, based on my favorite names (in my profile) or what comes to you off the top of your head? Thanks in advance, everyone!

I really like Helena, and I think it goes well with Lilah. I have always preferred the heh-LAY-nah pronunciation too, but lately I slightly prefer the HELL-eh-nah one. Not sure why. :b Guess I shouldn't use the name, then, since I can't decide which way to pronounce it. LOL.

I like Helena well enough and MUCH better than Helen which seems stodgy to me. Helena is more exotic and sophisticated though I do prefer the HEL-en-a pronunciation. It sounds fine with Lilah.

I love it. I slightly prefer the he-LEE-na pronunciation, but the one you're using is also very nice. And I love the combo Helena Scarlett.

I like Helena, but for some reason I much prefer other variations (Elena, Alena and Ileana). I think I just don't like the Hel- part and the look of 'Helen' in the name.

DH likes Helena too.

Im not so good for mn suggestions but I really like the name Helena! I know of a lil girl named Helena and they call her Heli for short, I love it!

I would never use Lena as a nn, because I pronounce Lena (LEE-na) [a friend is named this], and I pronounce Helena (he-LAY-na). From this list, I like Helena Scarlett and Helena Olivia. Thanks!
