I LOVE Elena, and I say eh-LEH-nah. However, you'd get eh-LAY-nah all the time.Natalia wins by a very slim margin...but I love both.

"However, you'd get eh-LAY-nah all the time."I agree because I get eh-LAY-na all the time. Rarely, I've gotten ee-LEE-na, but for the most part, you can count on the eh-LAY-na pronunciation. I like my name, but between the two, I can picture Natalia in your family. I also like an earlier suggestion of Eliana. I feel Isabel, Sofia and Eliana would make an absolutely stunning sibset.

Well, I'm always tempted to prn Elena as ELL-en-uh (knew a girl named Helena & she prn it HELL-en-uh, which has probably influenced me). I prefer the spelling Elaina if you want it to sound like Elaine. If you're prn it like Elaina, then I choose that over Natalia, but if you're going with the Ellena prn, then I choose Natalia. ;o) Am I making any sense at all, lol?Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts

I pronounce it e-LAY-na. For some reason, I think this name sounds kind of weak and frilly... but when you tack an H on it, I love it! Helena just seems more complete. Between Elena and Natalia, Natalia wins hands down. There's no confusion with pronunciation and it's just a beautiful name.

I'd say El-AHYN-a. I definately like Natalia better, although I prefer Natalie. I also prefer Alana to Elena, even though they are pronounced all most the same. Overall, the name Elena isn't that bad, but I personally wouldn't name a kid that.

I love Elena and I pronounce it eh-LEH-nah. I honestly love Natalia and Elena equally. Natalia is the only one I could ever use though because Elena is my wicked Russian step-grandma's name. ¡VIVA ESPAÑA!

Eh/Ih-LEE-nuh.It's OK. I don't dislike it, but it doesn't really stand out to me. I prefer Natalia.
