Laura - it's a fine name, but I know a really unpleasant Laura and that stops me from liking it.
Sally - I can see its charm but it's a bit dated where I'm from. Most English Sallys are in their fifties or sixties.
Laurel - again a bit dated, my mother has a good friend named Laurel.
Claire - dated to the 80s, don't like the 'lair' part of the name.
Polly - It's sweet, but a bit too cutesy, like Poppy, Milly etc.
