Crosby
Just popped into my head. What would you think if someone named their kid Crosby? Boy OR girl. Also, what middle name would you pair it with? Willoughby wolloughby willina, an elephant sat on Billina.

I'd think they watched too much parenthood and also wish they'd gone with Julia, Sarah, or Adam instead. No suggestions for middles because I can't stomach Crosby period.

Eh, I am not a fan. If someone actually used it I would likely not bat and eye, but I wouldn't recommend it myself. I am sure there is a grocery-store chain out there names Crosby's too. Crosby Danan

It's on my list, for a boy. I have it paired with...Crosby Everett
Crosby Alexander
Crosby JamesI will add that though it's on my list I have a bit of hesitance with it as it's so similar to Cosby and all that mess.

I'd hope most fervently that it was a family name. Can't think of mns for either gender - sorry. Blank. As long as they avoided Stills, Nash or Young, or indeed Bing, the field is open.

My husband's cousin named his son this. Not sure of the middle name, though it was also a surname. I found it really stupid and hipsterish

I like this. On a different site, though, a person was considering it and a lot of people said it'd be a bad idea because it's too close to Cosby... I just like it because it reminds me of Bing and jazz as well as Fanny and hymns, but I can understand the hesitance now.I like it on a boy as a first name, and I'm strangely not opposed to it on a girl as a middle name. Jane Crosby, Esther Crosby, Rosalie Crosby, Olivia Crosby... Yeah, I could get behind that.Crosby Victor

Crosby Tallulah (I usually don't care for Tallulah, but I oddly kind of dig this)

My first thought was of Bing Crosby. My second thought was that my first thought is probably just showing my age.I think the first syllable is unattractive. If I met someone with this name I'd assume they had it because it's a family surname. If someone must be named Crosby, I'd far prefer that person be a male than a female.

We have a client at my job with a daughter named Crosby. I would think they were extremely white and wealthy, and I'd be correct in this scenario. I can't remember what her middle name is but I'll keep you posted. I think she has siblings too.

Yup, a girl named Crosby (3) with an older sister McKenna (4).
