I really dislike it, it sounds pretentious to me.

Could be worse.. could be much worse...

Boy or girl? I don't have much preference either way. It sounds very trendy and surname-y to me (I don't like any "ton" names). But Preston is better than many potential choices, since she's a celebrity and we know what their taste is like ;-)
