Sorry, can't see it on a boy since it's a female noun in Croatian. And it's a TV station name here, so it'd be like naming a baby BBC or CNN to me, lol.

Nova on a boy is a serious GP of mine. I love it lots though I'd most likely never use it. Nova Morgan is lovely.

My combos are Nova Raphael and Nova Meirion.

I had a friend a few years ago who went by Nova, because her last name was Cassanova. So I immediately find it feminine - I think it's the -a ending, perhaps, combined with the association.

It's out there, and not quite my style, but I wouldn't necessarily *mind* it on a boy, per se. I think it's hard to find the right pattern, flow, and sound for middle names and combos when the first name is short and ends in -a. Nova Morgan almost sounds a little sing song-y in my head. The pattern of it seems to fit more as a middle name in my head.

I like Nova on either gender, I think it's got a lovely, mysterious ring to it which works just as well on a boy as it does on a girl. Nova Morgan makes me happy, it's totally unconventional and it reminds me of my brother. I'd suggest more combos but lately it seems that the part of my brain that comes up with good combos is broken :-P

I like Nova as a NN for November (f). It's not bad for a boy either.
I really like both Nova Morgan and Nova Clyde (f).
