Melanie - a bit dated but nice enough. I prefer Melody, it seems a bit more modern and unusual
Cara - Lovely, but I find Clara a bit more refined and classic.
Shannon - A bit masculine for my tastes.
Karen - I actually like this a lot. I used to consider it dated, but the little girl on Outnumbered made me view it as a kids name again. I love it as a nickname for Karensa or Kerensa.
Tara - Don't really like it. I find it a little trashy.
Michelle - Dated and not very attractive.
Colleen - Makes me think of a collie dog!
Marjorie - Dated, makes me think of margarine and Marge Simpson!
