Re: Short list

Charles - A bit boring, old and stuffy. I love Charlie though, but this is my least favorite from your list
Oscar - It's okay. It's been super popular for like 20 years where I'm living so I'm quite tired of it. But in an English speaking country where it isn't as common, sure, why not?
Frederick - I like it! Traditional and strong, with Freddie as a cute nickname.
Henry - Love it. I don't love Harry as much, but Henry doesn't really need a nickname.
Arthur - Love it. Dislike Artie, Art etc as nicknames and therefore I wouldn't use a nickname. Great name. Helena - Also very popular where I am, though for people 15-30 years older than me. Nice name though, and refreshing to see outside my country.
Eleanor - I like it a lot. There's a lot of nice nicknames too, Ella, Ellie, Nora etc.
Alice - Love it. It's in my own top three. Nickname proof
Louisa - Like it. Sweet, but yet fitting for an adult as well as a child
Beatrice - Lovely name. It has gained a lot of popularity lately though, which might be a reason for me not to use it. The nickname Bee is sweet and funny though.
Caroline - Eh. Not a favorite.
From the boys, Henry or Arthur would be my choice. As for combos, maybe Henry Arthur/Arthur Henry or something like Henry Edward or Arthur Frederick. I'm not so sure what I would choose from the girls. Alice, Eleanor or Beatrice. Depends on if you want a nickname or not, if you care about popularity etc. Alice Eleanor or Alice Beatrice would be nice.
