DardanellesWhile I haven't seen Dardanelles before, I do know that in the early 1920s some Americans named their daughters Dardanella and a couple of variations. Apparently there was some sort of conflict going on in the Dardanelles at that point. I can't explain why a modern couple would name their son Dardanelles, but I suppose it could be a family name or a favorite vacation spot.

It was a disastrous campaign in the First World War, in which an attempt to approach the Turkish coast from the sea and land an invasion force largely made up of Australian soldiers went horribly wrong. The name could commemorate a family tragedy or a national disaster, but hardly a happy holiday.

Combos I like:
Morgan Patrick is devilishly handsome
Oscar Joe is sweet and endearing
Eloisa Caitlin is nice and unexpectedNames I like:
Quinnley - I guess it should be a GP but I refuse to feel guilty. :)
Naomi rocks!
Ellis is really cool
Langley is very intriguing. I've never thought of it.

Swooon to Lucienne Winter!! How Heavenly! I prefer WInter on a boy, but that combo is awesomeDardanelles is just awful... How did they get from Augustus to that! :(Arlen is cool, as is Ellis.
Annoying to see Frederick is getting popular, the same with Arthur for 2 middle names!! :( Priya is kick ass!!
Verity is always sweet to see,
Stella, Jasper, Jonah and Flynn are such a sweet sibset.Taj Ezekiel is a cool combo! I actually have a GP for Reef.

For the most part, they're actually really nice names. I particularly like Verity Teresa, Eilidh Anne, Frederick William and George William.Dardanelles is interesting. I would've guessed it was a female name.
