Our names
Im pregnant. And due in August. We're not sure on the sex, yet. But I need your help on the names. For our boys we are almost certain about Ellis Walter or Gareth Walter. We love both, and cant choose.
But we have been thinking about Greyson Walter, Harrison Walter, Jameson Walter, Henry Walter, Caleb Walter, and Malachi Walter just in case we feel like Ellis or Gareth doesnt fit. For our girls we are almost certain about Victoria Deb or Eliza Deb. Again, we love both. And cant choose.
But we also have been thinking about Elisabeth Deb, and Lucy Deb. What are your opinions on these names? Walter & Deb are staying as middle names as they are family names and mean a lot to us. FTM due to pop August 23rd, 2015

Gareth Walter is just lovely. I fully support that combo and agree that it is handsome. Ellis is a pretty cool name as well, so I think you are set with your boys. But, if you really feel you need a third option, than I suggest Caleb. Despit the meaning of the name, Caleb has a strong history and I have truly liked all of the Calebs that I have met in the past (all of them are now successful as well). As for your girls, I think Eliza Deb flows very well, and it is adorable. I like Victoria as well, and think it quite the classic choice. (though, I slightly prefer Veronica as a v-name). Elisabeth and Lucy are ok, but they seem a tad boring next to Eliza and Victoria.

Congratulations! I happen to like most of the names you mention, individually. For a boy, Ellis Walter really stands out for me as my favorite combination; it's warm and distinctive and has a bit of spunk to it as well. I'd pick Gareth Walter second, Malachi Walter third. I love Henry but the combination with Walter doesn't wow me. Of your -son options, I defintely prefer the sound/feel of Harrison Walter over Greyson and Jameson. For a girl, Eliza Deb is my definite favorite (I get sunny warmth and, again, a bit of spunk from this, and I think it will age well, fitting both a spunky young girl and an elegant woman), followed by Elisabeth Deb. I love Lucy and while the combination Lucy Deb is very sweet, for me, it lacks the more mature elegance I feel from Eliza Deb. For me, Victora and Deb are very different temperatures, so I'm not wild about them in combination.

I like Walter in the name spot. I wish Deb could be Deborah, but I totally get that it is a family name for you. That being said, I like seeing Deb with a longer first name. Elizabeth/Elisabeth "Eliza" Deb, would be nice. The others I'm not a huge fan of.I'm sick of the -son names personally, particularly Greyson, which seems popular in my area. Out of your names, I like Henry Walter, Caleb Walter, & Ellis Walter the best. All this being said, please take it with a grain of salt... this is just my personal preference, but this is not my baby. :)

I'd choose Ellis Walter or Eliza Deb.
Gareth might turn into Gary. Henry would be my second choice, but I prefer Ellis with Walter.
Victoria is lovely, but Eliza goes better with Deb - much bouncier and more fun. Lucy would be my second choice - Elisabeth Deb is a bit of a mouthful

Could Ellis be confused with Alice? Where I live, that's possible in some accents. Which means that I'd definitely go for Gareth. I really don't like your backup boy list, though perhaps James instead of Jameson could work. If you're really keen on them, might you consider using Walter as a fn and choosing your fave for a mn?Must Deb be Deb? Since it's a mn I suppose it doesn't matter much, but even there I'd prefer to give her the dignity of a full name. And the same goes for Eliza, so if I were you, I'd be choosing between Victoria Deborah and Elizabeth Deborah. (I was at school with an Elizabeth Deborah, known as Elise. And another school friend used to say she would name a daughter Victoria Deborah! I don't think she did, though.)

Gareth has a sort of geeky vibe to it, a la The Office. I much prefer Ellis Walter. Greyson, Harrison, and Jameson are fairly trendy. Henry is nice but doesn't go as well with Walter as Ellis does. Caleb and Malachi are lukewarm. I prefer Eliza Deb. I just like the combination of letters more than a V and D. And now that I say the letters together, do you really want her initials to be VD? Lucy Deb is also nice.

I like both Victoria and Eliza, but I think I prefer Victoria slightly moreFrom your boys I like Ellis and Caleb best. I think Caleb is my favourite. Dislike Deb, but Walter is delightful

I like Gareth the most out of your boy names. I'm not crazy about Walter but it sounds nice in this combo. My second favorite would be Henry Walter but it seems a bit too stuffy. Gareth is a nice combo of 'unusual' but not over the top. The other boy options are okay, but I think Gareth shines. Greyson, Harrison and Jameson are a little too trendy sounding (especially Greyson). Is Deb short for anything? It just seems a bit abrupt in the middle name slot. But I think a longer name helps balance it out. Lucy Deb is too short and seems like it's just cut off. I like Victoria the most. It's a classic girl name without being too frilly and it helps even out the shortness of Deb.
