Hector, etc.
Following a conversation with my partner about what names we both like, (good-bye, half my name list!) I have some new top choices in the event we ever have children. Just testing them out and inviting opinions.Sebastian Jean-Pierre
Hector ConradVera Theresa Renee
Tecla LeslieAll names are honouring with the exception of Sebastian and Vera. I am least sold on Tecla but he really likes it and it's his great-grandmother's name. Also, Hector Conrad is a favourite and I'm not sure how I feel about the possibility of ending up with the nicknames 'Hec' and 'Tec'.We have a hard time agreeing on names so here's our full list for first names:Brigitte (but he thinks his parents would struggle with pronounciation)
Celeste
Lisette
Tecla
VeraHector
Sebastian
TheodoreAnd middle names:Leslie
Renee
Tecla
TheresaConrad
Jean-Pierre
Marcel or Marcello
Marshall
SeanI'd love suggestions if you have any! First names must be pronounceable in French.__________________________________The human brain is a haphazard, messy machine that glitches at the slightest, strangest provocation.

Vera Theresa Renee is lovely. The first name and middle names are classical and distinguished and work well together. Sebastian seems to be coming into vogue, but it has the same problem as Hector, a lamentable absence of nick names that don't sound ridiculous. Seb/ Sebby only sounds cute on a baby, and Bass are fish. I dislike Tecla, but if you and the father are attached to it, Vera Theresa Tecla could work. Does his great-grandmother have a middle name that could be used as an alternative name to honor her? Theodore Jean-Pierre certainly would have a French flair to it. Suggestions for Boys:
Armand
Augustin
Dominique
Claude
Damian
Christian
Daniel
Gabriel
Raphael
Constantine
Simon

I think your boy names are handsome and flow well; especially love Sebastian and Conrad.I think Vera Theresa Renee flows fine. For me, Tecla Leslie doesn't work flow-wise; too much "l" too close together, kind of tongue-twisty. Also, each name is two syllables and they share the same first vowel sound. Vera Theresa Leslie and Tecla Renee?I would care for rhyming nicknames either. Conrad Hector?

Tecla is amazing. I have liked this for a while spelled Tekla, but find it mildly unusable for my family. I would love to see it used though - so I suggest it for a middle name spot. Leslie Tecla even flows a bit better. If it helps, I doubt anyone would call the kids Hec and Tec. Both names are short enough that people will use the full name in most cases, or an endearing name like "little hecster", etc. I happen to like all of the combos you suggested, though there seems to be two completely different styles going on. I am a fan of the more traditional Sebastian Jean-Pierre and Vera Theresa Renee... Though I do like Therese a bit better. Hector Conrad and Tecla Leslie are dear, but not as elegant as the other options. I do like these (new) combos:
Vera Celeste Renee
Brigitte Tecla - the pronunciation is a lot easier than you would think
Hector Marcel
Sebastian Conrad
