My cousin is expecting a baby and I'm very excited! They're quite versatile with names, however they don't go for anything kre8iv or very modern. However, there is one big catch, which is that they can't use any female names ending in an 'ee' or an 'a' sound, eg.
Felicity or
Maria. For boys they are going quite classic so far, but their options are limited! Also, no names which are too 'cultural'. They want quite a British feel, I think.
Some of their ideas are:
BOYS
Edward /
EdwinThomas (could only be used as a middle)
They have talked about
Frederick nn
Freddie and
Rupert, I think.
GIRLS
TamsinIrisHazelJasmineIsabelleFlorenceElspeth
They've also talked about
Helen,
Madeleine and
Martha (not sure how that one crept in!) but those aren't as set-in-stone.
A new possibilty is
Maelys (my suggestion!) but I don't really know what they're thinking about that one so far.
Personally I'm routing for either
Maelys Jasmine or
Tamsin Iris for a girl. For a boy,
Edward Thomas is really the only viable option!
As you can see they're pretty stuck so any help would be very much appreciated. Suggestions, especially for boys, and ideas would be good.
