Favourites: Basil & Beatrice. I adore Basil - it sounds aristocratic and I don't mind the association with the herb. Basil Rathbone and Basil Hallward are also positive ties. Beatrice has a charming meaning, links to Shakespeare and Dante, and the fantastic nickname Bee.
Least favourites: Barclay & Berlin. Barclay sounds and looks vacuous, like the name of a pettish beaver in a children's book. Berkeley is a slight improvement. Berlin is doubtless a bewitching city, but it makes an incredibly unpleasant name - the BURL part sounds odious.
Combos: Basil Benedict & Beatrice Beryl. Basil Benedict sounds like the epitome of British gentility. Beatrice Beryl isn't as attractive - it sounds like the name of a prickly librarian with a heart of gold - but it flows nicely.

Barnaby is my fave for a boy, because I like the sound and the meaning. Blossom is my fave for a girl, because it’s floral, sweet, unusual and also a bit spunky. Bryson and Bertha are my least faves. Both really unappealing in sound imo. Fave combos are Barnaby Benedict and Blossom Belle.

...what combo you would make using only the names from each list.Favourite from each list: Barnaby (closely followed by Bartholomew and Balthazar) and Beatrice ( followed by Bryony and Bronte)
Least favourite: Bryson & Brandy or BeverlyCombos: Barnaby Balthazar (so cool) and Bryony BeatriceBarnaby, Bartholomew and Balthazar are just cool. I love all three. Beatrice is nice and so are Bryony and Bronte, but don't feel so strongly about them.Bryson is so trendy, it's yuck. Brandy isn't nice and Beverley is old and frumpy.

Favorite: Brady
Even though it's trendy, I like how cool it sounds and I love last names as first names.
Least Favorite: Bryson
Im not a fan, sometimes I rarely like creative names, but this is not my cup of tea.Favorite: Brooke
I love nature names, it's a very sweet name. I love this name and Brooks.
Least favorite: Bathsheba
It's harsh sounding to me.Combos:
Brady Bennett
Brooke Bethany

That’s funny... we have the exact same combos picked! I didn’t expect to see any love at all for Brady because most people always say “ohhh the Brady Bunch ughhh” but I'm happy to see someone else likes it!!!

lol, I saw that! I mostly heard it on sports athlete Tom Brady, but I thought it would've been a great first name, and its on the top 100!

List 1: Favorite: Bennett - really, this and Benedict are practically the only ones I like from the list (I don't care for most masculine B names, not sure why). Bennett comes out on top not only for the Pride & Prejudice association, but because it avoids having the "dic" sound in the name.Least Favorite: Barclay - whether pronounced like "bar" and "clay" put together, or like "bark" and "lee," but either way it doesn't sound like a name for people. Not to mention the Barclay brothers (and their bank, Barclays) are not the best associations.Combo: Bennett Balthazar
List 2: Favorite: Barbara - a lot of people perceive this as really dated, but I can see why it was so popular for so long. The way I say it, even if it's just a schwa sound I make sure that middle syllable is said: BAR-buh-rah sounds much more elegant / refined than BAR-bruh.
(If you'd asked me last year, I would've chosen Beverly as my favorite, but Barbara has recently usurped it as my favorite feminine B name.)Least Favorite: Bathsheba. Without question. I mean, there are a few names on here I really don't like (Bertha, Bastet, Beulah, Birdie...), but come on: Bath. Sheba. (The original Hebrew form, Batsheva, is not nearly so bad as its Anglicization.)Combo: Barbara Beatrice

Favorites: Bran and BryonyLeast favorites: Beau and Berlin.I like Bran the most because it's close to Bram, which I love as a nickname for Abraham. I just think Bryony, pronounced any way, is pretty.I've always thought Beau sounds horrible. BO. Picking a least favorite of the girls' was hard, as several are quite awful. But in the end, I have to go with the completely unfeminine and unappealing in any way Berlin.Bran Benedict and Bryony Bathsheba, because Bathsheba is a GP.

Favourite: Beau - I didn’t love any names on the boy’s list but Beau sounds simple and elegant to me despite it being the old fashioned word for boyfriend. I think it works nicely for a boy.Least favourite: Bailey - this one sounds like a surname to me, and even then it doesn’t sound too good. It’s not popular yet I somehow find it boring and repetitive.Favourite: Beatrice - beautiful classic name that I never get bored of, I love Beatrix too.Least favourite: Bridget - sounds like ‘Bridge’, it’s an old fashioned name like Geraldine that doesn’t look or sound nice, but even with Geraldine I can say it and it has a hint of elegance - whereas Bridget doesn’t. Bridgette looks nicer but I’m pretty sure it sounds exactly the same.Combos:
Birdie Beatrice
Beau Bartholomew

My answers...I like Bennett the most out of all the names on the boys' list. It's handsome, it isn't too out-there, and you can't pinpoint it to a specific time period. Also, Ben/Benny/Benji.My least favorite name from that list is Bartholomew. It has a gross sound, and Bart isn't really usable, thanks to "The Simpsons".From the girls' list, my favorite is Berlin, pronounced bur-LIN. I used to say this was a GP, but it's not, anymore. I really like the sound of it. My least favorite is Beulah. It reminds me of the sound people make when they vomit.Combos: Bennett Blaise, and Berlin Bethany. Sure, those would work.

Best:
Benedict
Because it's not hideous and it means blessing and can be nicked to Ben which is pretty normal. Too bad about the gross pope.
Runner up: Bertram because it means bright raven and could be nicked to Bear. But it's a little ugly.
The rest are hideous. Well, no. Bennett, Beau, Basil, Brennan aren't utterly hideous. But I don't like 'em.
Worst:
Barnaby. Because barn, and baby, and a general feeling of something large and round busting stupidly through walls.
Bombo (typo but I'm leaving it): Benedict BertramBest:
Bryony
I dunno, I just dislike it least right now. I would rather pronounce Bryony as BREE-o-nee.
It does sound like Brian-y but it's cooler than Brandy (one I personally like but wouldn't use) or Brooke (surnamey). And prettier than Bridget, which should be the best because it's more classic, but I just don't care for the sound of it at all. Bronte is kind of a gp here ... Berlin maybe too, if it were pronounced BEAR-LIN instead of burl-IN.
Worst:
Oh, this is hard. I didn't think it could be harder than the boy list was, but it is.
Bathsheba. Because bath, and cat food, and batshi... .
Bimbo, I mean combo: Bryony Berlin "BREE-o-nee BEAR-LIN"

I especially like Bailey, Balthazar, Benedict, Beatrice, Belle, Bonnie, Briar and Bryony. My favorites are Balthazar and Belle, but if I have to name a kid using the names from those list I'd go with:Bailey Balthazar & Belle Beatrice My least favorites are Bambi (it's just stupid - and Bambi were a boy...) and Burton, it's ugly in English and even worse in Swedish. Bert- names are bad enough, Burton is Bert's ugly cousin.

I think that Brennan is a good name. More modern, sure, but nice. I like Beau the way it's spelled, but I'm not a big fan of a name that just sounds like "Bo"
Some of the others I like on that list are Bayard (I think it would be a good pet name tbh), Benedict (because of Benedict Spinoza), Benvolio (yea because of Shakespeare), and maybe even Barclay. Bernadette. I think it's the strongest of the names while still having a really nice sound? I also like the sound of Bastet, Branwen, Briar, but I might not use them. Least Favorite
Barnaby – it feels like the name of a storybook pirate or just the word barnacle
Beulah – I just hate it… sounds like the teacher saying "Bueller. Bueller. Bueller."CombosBarclay Bristol

Boys:
Favorite: Brady. I love it. It’s cute, handsome, i like the sound of it.
I’ve only ever known two Brady’s, in my life, and one was a very handsome guy in his twenties, when I was a teen, and I remember he was quiet and nice and I really liked that.
The other is an adorable little boy that my has a crush on my daughter and has since he was like 2 years old, it’s hilarious.Least favorite: Boris. It’s hideous.... ugly, blah, I just think of a dorky looking guy with coke bottle glasses and moles all over his face that he has long hairs growing out of.
Followed closely by Barnaby, who is a Boris’s best friend, and Basil, the sneaky little nerd that follows Boris and Barnaby around.
Girls:
Favorite: Brooke. I like the sound of it, it’s cute and sweet and makes me think of a happy peaceful day, by a babbling brook, reading and eating candy. LolLeast favorite: oh geez. There are some awful names. Beryl? I absolutely hate Carol and Beryl is just about as bad.
Followed by: Bruna, Bathsheba, (besides her being weird and bathing on the roof, who would want to name their kid Bath??) Barbara, Bambi, Bernadette, Brandy, Beulah... yeah, I don’t like many B names.
