I don’t mind it, though I wouldn’t use it. I would be pretty happy to meet a little baby Ramona though! It always makes me think of the Louis Armstrong song of the same name. I think Ramona Lily, Ramona Esme, Ramona Pearl, Ramona Faith, Ramona Florence, Ramona Grace, Ramona Celeste and Ramona Shari are nice. Brother and sister names are hard, as there are so many options and it really just depends on the naming tastes of the parents.

I love Ramona! My oldest daughter is named Ramona, and we sometimes call her "Mo". I feel like Ramona is one of those "sweet spot" names: familiar, but still relatively uncommon. From my experience, Ramona is high-energy, inquisitive, creative, and funny. I also like the Ramona Quimby association. My daughter is Ramona Audrey. I saw Ramona Hero on another board once and thought it was fun.I would (and did) name a sister Claudia. I'd use Ferris for a brother.

I dislike it. I’m not sure why, but it just feels dowdy and unattractive to me.

I like it a lot. It has a slightly quirky vintage vibe I find appealing. Ramona Mary comes to mind as a full name. Maybe Larissa and William for siblings.

I can see Ramona and Larissa being sisters. That totally works.

Ramona's cute and fun. It's so strongly associated with Ramona Quimby that I wouldn't use it for that reason, but it is cute anyway, maybe at least partially because of the character, who was cute even when she was obnoxious.
Her middle name in the books was Geraldine; I absolutely would not use that!Ramona BrookeRamona AllisonRamona LouiseRamona PaigeRamona SuzanneAs for a brother, how about Benjamin?

The Quimbys loved those "ugly" old lady names: Beatrice, Ramona, and Roberta. Roberta was named after her father, though.Ramona Louise is calling to me. That is cute.

Beezus was named after her mom's sister, their Aunt Beatrice.
Ramona had friends named Howie and Willa Jean, for goodness sake. lol You can tell Beverly Cleary started writing those books in the fifties. She wrote the last one in the late nineties, where Ramona gets a new best friend named Daisy.
Did you know Cleary is still alive? She's 104.

I did know that. :)I can see Daisy on a girl now , maybe not so much in the late 90's. B.C. was ahead of her time. ;)
