3rd bub needs a name…help!
Hi All
My 3rd bub (boy) is 6 days old and hubby and I are still struggling to name him. I really like the name “Bodhi” and hubby is keen on “Aidan” but neither of us are that keen on the other’s name choice so we’re trying to find another name both of us like. His older sisters are Alayna and Imogen.
The other names on our list are the following:
- Reid
- Kian
- Caelan
Which one of the above do you like the best and do you have any other name suggestions?
Many thanks!

Reid is my fave and I think Alayna, Imogen and Reid sounds quite good together. Other suggestions are Finley, Oliver, Rhys, Riley, Maxwell, Oscar and Tobias.
I think Aidan is too close to sister Alayna, it would cause a lot of confusion. And Bohdi and Alayna as siblings make Imogen look frumpy in comparison.
Caelan would be nice. I think both Reid and Kian are too high energy and make sister Imogen look sluggish. Caelan matches the romantic historical look of Imogen and also the crisp modernity of Alayna.
Other ideas:
Beauden
Brontë
Bram
Brogan
Cian, Ciaran (this is basically Kian)
Eamon
Odhran (sort of has the odh of Bodhi plus the -an of Aidan?)
Tadhg, Teige, or Teague
Tiernan
Tierney
A lot of these are pretty far from your original picks but I tried to keep that spirit of "ancient poet in the 21st century" vibe.
Congrats!

I like Aidan Bodhi as a combo. But I wouldn't use another A name with Alayna.
Reid is better for a middle name, I like it in theory (and Reed because I like plants) but as a first name it feels like it would only fit an adult and not a kid. It would work as a middle name for Aidan or Caelan.
Kian is good, it ticks the same boxes as Aidan without being so overused. Kian Bodhi?
I really like Caelan. Kian is simpler, but if I had to pick one right now I'd choose Caelan. It feels softer, more singsongy, and looks a bit fantasy without being OTT (and while still sounding like a 'regular person' and not being difficult to spell).
Other ideas with Alayna and Imogen:
Colin
Conor
Conri
Ciaran
Micah
Damien
Liam
Willem
Corin
Roland
Brendan
Rian
Riordan
