Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie have welcomed their fourth child (his ninth), Poppy Eliza Josephine. She joins siblings Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas, Romy Iris Charlotte and Frank Alfred Odysseus, and half-siblings Lara Lettice, Milo Arthur, Cassia Peaches, Theodore Apollo and Stephanie.

Anyway, I find Poppy, Wilfred, Romy, and Lawrie dreadful. Frank and Alfred are alright for the right time period / age bracket - these children are not in that. Odysseus is just so tied to a specific figure, I find it rather ridiculous. And Iris is just not my style.
Eliza Josephine might be pretty, Nicholas and Charlotte would be a nice sibset.
Lara I don't like, though I do like Laura - but Lara Lettice sounds silly (and I will never not see the name Lettice and think of lettuce.)
Milo Arthur is fine.
Cassia Peaches - why Peaches? Yikes. And Cassia is not my style.
Theodore I like, but again, Apollo... well, I guess Apollo and Odysseus within the same family makes sense, but I dislike it.
Stephanie is fine, I guess.
On the whole not a fan of this set of names. There are some individual names that are fine/good/great. There is no genuinely good combination.

Poppy Eliza Josephine flows nicely, better than Poppy Josephine Eliza, but I don't like Poppy or Eliza - or, indeed, Josephine, but at least it isn't floral-trendy or a nickname/amputation.
A-a-and the rest! Wilfred is old enough to be new: hope he's known as either Wil or Fred, but not Wilf. Lawrie? Prefer Lawrence or Laurence. Nicholas is excellent. Romy isn't. As a nn for Rosemary, Rosamond etc it's fine, because there are other possibilities: Rosie, Rose, or the full name. But Romy? A babyish nn to be stuck with all one's life. Iris is a rare example of a flower name I actually like. But, I dislike Charlotte. Frank is fine as a nn for Francis, which I wish it was: once more, it's a matter of being locked into a nn for life. Alfred - Boris seems to enjoy -Fred names. It's fine; Odysseus is a sore thumb: Alfred Odysseus Frank would flow better. I much prefer Laura to Lara, and Lettice is unfortunate. Letitia would be better, but as a mn I suppose it's not serious.

Say what you want about these two, they have good taste in names. Poppy Eliza Josephine is heavenly, as is Romy Iris Charlotte. Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas and Frank Alfred Odysseus are also gorgeous combos, although Wilfred and Frank are a tiny bit too dusty for my taste.
I also really like Milo Arthur and Theodore Apollo. Lara Lettice is okay. Cassia is nice, although Peaches is a no. Stephanie by itself is funny.
