[Opinions] Madison
Madison for a little boy. I'm loving it again for a first name.
Any MN suggestions? WDYT of it in general?

Madison is okay (only okay on a boy, HORRIBLE on a girl) and it would be very refreshing to see. I would kind of worry about the kid As for mn suggestions, I think it would be better paired with a thoroughly boys name rather than a unisex name:
Madison Elijah
Madison Cormac
Madison James
Madison Connall
Madison Aquila
Madison Norman
Madison Damien
Madison Daniel
Madison Romeo
Madison Indiana
Madison Othello
Madison Charles
Madison Oliver
Madison Oscar
Madison Desmond
Madison Johan
Madison Riordan
Madison LeifAny you like?

I had a quick check on other sites, and Madison was originally the masculine counterpart to the feminine Madeleine. This site actually says it was not commonly used as a female name until after the movie Splash in the 80's.
Also, I have only ever seen Maddison for girls, with two d's. The single D could be used as a gender, like Aiden for a boy but Eiden for a girl...

I like Madison on a boy. I agree with what Raindancing said, about Madison needing a strong middle name to kind of balance it out. How about something like:Madison James
Madison Garrett
Madison Boyd
Madison Oscar
Madison Theodore
Madison Peter
Madison Kenneth
Madison Victor
Madison Cole

I love this name for a boy!
I didn't think a lot of people liked it for a boy,
since it is soo over-used for a girl
I think I know about 15 Madison's that are girls
this name is so great thoughhow about
Madison James
Madison Ross

I think the boy with the #3 most popular little girl's name would be one unhappy little boy.Yes, it's hypocritical of society, but that's how it is. I wouldn't put a son of mine in that position.

Madison has always been a girl's name to me.

Madison James was the first think I thought of. Also Madison Alexander. Definitely use something that couldn't be used on a girl since Madison is so popular for girls.

Wow I love Madison James! Good choice

I like it for a boy, I have seen Madison used for a boy a couple of times , it would need a strongly masculine middle name though.

It sounds too feminine in my opinion.

I've never thought of madison for a boy before, but somehow it really works! I near-love it!For a middle name, I'm really drawn to Madison Henry, or Madison Blake. Those two just jumped into my head.
