Ethnic Backgrounds (Game of sorts)
If you only had one child for each of your ethnic or cultural backgrounds, how many children would you end up having? Each has to be named after said background. I will post my example.

Well both sides of my family are Estonian, so that means I would only have one child:if it's a girl = Maarika

I would have one Swedish, one Finnish and one Swedish-Canadian, that I know for sure. I'm pretty sure I would have one Polish child, too.
Then I might have one Saami, one Irish and one Walloon child, too, but I'm more unsure of that.Swedish child: Tua Katrin or Oscar Torbjörn
Finnish child: Henna Lumi
Polish child: Celestyna Malgorzata
Saami child: No idea, not good at Saami names
Irish child: Sean Kieran
Walloon child: Christine Pomeline

English - Samuel Cooper
Fijian - Keresi Litia
Dutch - Mozes Olivier
Scottish - Eilidh Mairead
Spanish - Rafael Tomas
Uruguayan - Florencia SofiaNB: As Uruguayan names are Spanish names, I've chosen the name from the top ten in Uruguay, so it's a reflection of naming there. Florencia is the top girl's name.

I'm 100% Danish as far as I know, but there could be a small part of some eastern/southern European in me (maybe Romani), due to the biological mother of my maternal grandmother, who died when she was 5 years old and her dad remarried later on and became who I knew as my great-grandmother who was all Danish. The mother who died may have been from eastern/southern Europe, because my grandmother had really dark skin, brown eyes and near black hair, she had from her mom. Not a usual thing back in the 1910s Denmark. No info has been able to be found, since every trace stops in the early 1920s when she died. TL;DR: I'm 100% Danish as far as I know. So...Girl: Astrid Merete AlberteBoy: Laurits Troels Frederik

Scottish*: Hamish Lachlan
Irish: Saoirse Niamh
Welsh: Rhodri Aneirin
English: Tuppence Crumpet Lilywhite (or probably just Henry Arthur)
*Technically Orcadian, and a true Orcadian would claim themselves 'Viking' before Scottish. So... Jarl Thorfinn.

I'm Canadian, with Scottish ancestors, so, only one child.if male, he'd be-Kenneth Dougal.
if female, she'd be Margaret Jean. For a Canadian child, I went looking for a First Nations name.(not an extensive look, but I did try a bit.)However, as I live on the east coast, European contact was early, and most all of the First Nation names had given way to English or French names. So, my Canadian child would be named Maple. Will do for male or female.

Scottish: Caitrìona Elspet
Swedish: Loke Melker
Native American: Isi Rayen

Only one, that I know of. My parents are both Dutch and their ancestors are from the Dutch part of Belgium as far as we know. I'm going to name a girl because most Dutch boys' names don't appeal to me.Myrthe Maria Chantal (MNs are honouring)

This is no fun for me! :(I'm an English thoroughbred as far back as my father has traced. To name only one child with my English background in mind; I would go with Jeremy Phoenix.A lot of names I like are multi-cultural, with usage and origins coming mainly from Germany and other European countries, so in the combo above I tried to use names with "only" English usage (which crossed off a lot of my top ten!)

One or two. My maternal grandfather and his side of the family came to Sweden from France in 1740. So if you count that I would have two kids, otherwise just one. Ebba Anna MatildaandLucas Arthur Alexandre

I am not entirely sure how the word "ethnic" applies to me. My ancestors immigrated to the USA from five European countries, so assuming you mean that, I guess I'd have five children.English: VictoriaIrish: Bridget -- My paternal grandmother's Irish parents wanted to name her this, but the godmother objected, so she became Agnes insteadScottish: KennethGerman: Vilhelm -- cooler than WilliamCzech or Slovakian: Pavel -- my maiden name is a patronymic based on Pavel. Culturally, I am an American, so if I wanted to honor my culture, I'd name my first son George Washington Surname.
