Favorites:
Anne Rebecca
Caroline Sophia
Charlotte Sophia (prefer Sophia Charlotte, as I think it flows better)
Eleanor Mary
Elizabeth Anna
Margaret Anna
Matilda Catherine
Rosa Catherine
Susannah Margaret
Henry Nathaniel
Isaac James
Luke Daniel
Micah Benjamin
Nathaniel Henry
Peter Nicholas
Samuel Peter
Thomas AndrewMary and Keturah are both lovely names, but I don't like them together at all. Too much R.Meh:
Ada Catherine --Ada is sweet but kind of blah and nicknamey. I prefer the Adah spelling, or better yet, Adelaide, Adele, or Adela.
Alice Virginia --It's a pretty combo but I really dislike Virginia. I can't get past the virgin part.
Magdalene Anna --Not big on the -en An- transition. Anna Magdalene would sound better.
Aaron Samuel --Aaron bores me but I'd love Samuel Aaron.
Asa Benjamin --Never cared for Asa but it's a fine name.
Elijah Thomas --Elijah is super in-your-face religious to me. I'd rather see Eli Thomas or Thomas Elijah (I also like Elias, but not with Thomas).
Ezra Paul --Ezra is kind of harsh and...grinding.Least favorites:
Esther Jean --Such an ugly collection of sounds, and Esther Jean sounds like a 90-year-old. Sorry.
Anything involving Jethro, which is terrible IMO. Jethro has about three teeth, drives a falling-apart pickup truck with giant Confederate flags plastered all over it, and married his first cousin.
Anything involving Arthur, which I'm afraid is the sound my cat makes when he has a hairball
Margot (maggot, and Mar Go is so unattractive)
Louisa (can't stand the "weez" bit, and lou-WEES-ah sounds very affected in my accent)
Winifred (noooooooo)
Edmund Brandon --What an odd juxtaposition of fusty old man and obnoxious jock. Also, it's too B-heavy.
Silas --Slimy and whiny, and reminds me of a silo.
Virginia Rose --See above re: virgin issues, and this sounds like a description of a rose that grows in Virginia.
Jasper Nathaniel --I can't see the appeal of Jasper. It's so hissy.
John Christian --John is great but I find Christian bizarre, like naming a kid John Jewish or John Buddhist.
