Aina or Elsa? Aina because no Frozen association.
Alice or Alix or Alys? Alice feels most classy.
Cosima or Elvira or Ursula? Cosima is currently very high on my list.
Dagmar or Olga? I like the sound of Dagmar better.
Eleonora or Isadora or Theodora? Theodora
Elisabeth or Ester? Ester
Helena or Ilona? Helena
Jane or Mary? Mary is more versatile.
Josephine or Persephone? Persephone is more interesting.
Juliana or Lavinia or Minerva? Minerva. It sounds stronger, less trendy and is a name of a goddess of wisdom.
Salome or Zénaïde? Zenaide. Salome sounds too much like salami to me.
Saskia or Sylvia? I love both. Sylvia if I had to.

Alfons / Alphonse or Alfred? I prefer famous people associations for Alfred over those for Alfons, so Alfred.
Andrei or Nikolai? Nikolai, also love both.
Casimir / Kasimir or Constantin / Konstantin? Konstantin because I love the nn Kostya!
Frederick or Henry? Frederick seems less overused now.
Gustaf / Gustav or Svante? I have Swedish scientists with these names on my mind. I prefer Gustav but appreciate both.
Javier or Johannes? Johannes
