Timo and Coline (now an Olympic bronze medalist) tied the knot in a quiet ceremony (or at least, what passes for a quiet ceremony when you’re a minor member of a royal family) last year, with Livia as one of Coline’s bridesmaids. Isaac took the opportunity to introduce his boyfriend, a writer and theatre director from Wales, to the family, while Rhea and August attended with a toddler in tow — a boy whom they would candidly admit was an accident, but who was welcomed into their family nonetheless.
Half a year after the wedding, Timo and Coline sat down for lunch with Thomas and Holly, and announced that they were expecting a baby; this was met with equal parts delight and distress, as the grandparents-to-be swear they’re too young for the role. When the news filters over to the continent and Claire learns that she’s going to be a great-grandmother, she just about collapses on the spot, much to Hugo’s amusement. The expecting couple have decided that they want to keep their baby’s gender a surprise, and so the speculation about names is doubled, with everyone and their grandmother suggesting combinations for a boy and for a girl.

Timo and Coline’s child’s first name is currently popular in Belgium but is also used in English, their first middle name honours a maternal relative, and their second middle name is a classic French name (honouring one of Timo’s royal ancestors). They will have Coline’s maiden name as a third middle name, and bear Timo’s surname. (Please do a masculine and a feminine option!)
Isaac’s DBF’s first name is a Welsh name which is currently in the top 500 in England & Wales, his middle name is an English name of Biblical origin, and his surname is Welsh or common in Wales.
Rhea and August’s DS’s first name is an Italian form of a Latin name, and his middle name is popular in Sweden but uncommon elsewhere.
