[Opinions] Percy Florence
...is what Percy Bysshe Shelley, and Mary Shelley, née Godwin, named one of their sons, the only of their children to survive past childhood. His first name, naturally, honoured his father, while his middle name was given in reference to the city.• Would you rather use Percy as a nickname for Percival, a nickname for Perseus, or on its own?• Thoughts on Florence for a boy?• What would you name a brother and sister to Percy Florence?I think I'll go with Simon Meredith and Agnes Vincente. 🕊️❣️🌻💌🌻❣️🕊️masculine list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/191050/124079

I would rather use Percival than Perseus or Percy. Percy on its own reminds me of how I prefer Quentin and Quintus to Quincy.Florence is passable for a boy because it sounds so much like Laurence and Florian. I don't love it for either gender but do prefer it as feminine.Percy Florence

Quote• Would you rather use Percy as a nickname for Percival, a nickname for Perseus, or on its own?
I quite like Percival, actually. So, Percival nn Percy.
Quote• Thoughts on Florence for a boy?
Strongly prefer it for a girl! If I have to use a boy name, connected to Florence, I'd rather use Florent or Florentin.
Quote• What would you name a brother and sister to Percy Florence?
I think I'll go with Simon Meredith and Agnes Vincente.

Ha! Your sibset is smart! Love it.Well, let me think...
Percy Florence + Cai Lohengrin + Vivien Alexandria

ah Mary Shelley... idk how popular Percy was for a girl at this place and time (and I'm too lazy to check) but in my modern eyes it does feel like it would suit her persona well in naming-taste from what I do remember about her background and persona. I like Percy on a boy fine but I think I favor it as a nickname. I always think of ArchibaldArchie” and ReginaldReggie” as the quirky, off-beat, retro male duo but I think Percival "Percy" could round it off nicely in a trio. Other sibling ideas:
Philomena "Philly"
Ivor
Nigel
Dorcas "Dory"
Theodora "Dora" or "Thea"
Eudora "Dora"
Isadora "Dora"

Roland
Rhoda
Thora
Dorian
*I'm really feeling a sister "Dora"

Basil

Wilhelmina "Willa" or "Mina"

Cordelia "Delia"
