Re: Top Ten for August
Lydia Constance - Absolutely gorgeous. I don't want to speak too soon, but this might be perfect.Cordelia Fleur - Another near-perfect combo. I think Fleur is the best middle name suggestion I've heard yet for Cordelia.Aubrey Eulalia - Eulalia is okay, but sorry, I don't like Aubrey.Liadan Malley - Is Malley honoring someone's surname? I'm not keen on Malley, but Liadan is cute.Dorothy Wynne - I like Wynne, but I have disliked Dorothy for a long time. I don't know what it is, but the sound grates on my ears. I vastly prefer Theodora - or rather, Isadora / Isidora.Georgia Colleen - I dislike both names, so I can't really offer you anything here.Evangeline Aurora - Aurora is one of those names for me that looks great on paper, but is often hard to say. I'm glad you put it in the middle name slot. Evangeline is lovely. May I suggest Evangeline Aurelia?Kiera Patricia - I prefer Keira to Kiera, and I prefer Kira still. I'm also not sure that this name "looks right" written / spelled out.Scarlett Marielle - Scarlett is elegant, but also very strong. Marielle sounds weak and nickname-y next to it, imo.Lilah Sharon - Very pretty.Peter Warren - Neither name is my style.Owen Rory - Like Owen, dislike Rory.Dorian Jack - Dorian is so smooth cosmopolitan, and rough-around-the-edges Jack doesn't look ro sound right with it.Ezra Phoenix - Now this is a cool name!Ian Donnell - Nice name.Oliver John - I just... can't get on the Oliver bandwagon. Sorry, I don't like the sound of it. And John is pure snoozeville for me.Benjamin / BEnnett Christopher - I prefer Bennett, then the name doesn't seem so long.Reilly Colin - I like Colin, but I don't know how I feel about Reilly as a masculine name. (I think of Riley as a masculine spelling.)Rhys Joseph - For me, the 's' sounds run into each other.Samuel Atticus - I think Atticus is a cool name, but I've never liked "Sam" names.
