Ginevra?
What do you think of the Ginevra, with the nickname Ginny? What are some middle names that would go well with it?

I like it a lot, and I love Ginny as a nn for anything. But it's too Harry Potter that way. Not that I don't love Harry Potter, but you know. The combo Ginevra Maureen just popped into my head and I really like it.

I think it's lovely. I really like Ginny as a nickname but can't stand Virginia for the full name; Ginevra is so much better! Ginevra Phoebe
Ginevra Katherine
Ginevra May
Ginevra Caitlin
Ginevra Lily

I really don't like it at all. And Ginny is not a nn that appeals at all, for Ginevra, Virginia or whatever.Middle name? As long as you avoid Molly, it hardly matters.

It's not my favorite, and I really don't care for Ginny. I'd much rather see Ginevra nn Evie.

Yes!I was think Evie would be an adorable nickname, but I wasn't sure if people would think it would work so I didn't suggest it in my earlier comment!

Very HP. I prefer Geneve. It is a form of Gweneviere, like Jennifer, so maybe this is the next form of it to become popular.

There are some Harry Potter connotations, but I think its one of the names that can work.Ginevra on its own is very lovely, and not a lot people realise that its Ginny Weasley's full name. In fact a lot of people confuse it and thinks its Ginerva. (Like Minerva with a G, I made that mistake the first time too...) Ginny as a nickname however, can really go either way. It's nice though! If it wasn't a Harry Potter name, I'd think about using it. I'm a die hard Harry Potter fan, and all of my family and friends know it and would probably never let it go. Oh well, there's still always Guinevere.
