Thinking of Names...Opinions welcome! :)
I have a huge Cabbage Patch Kid collection, the names I've used were posted here in another thread. I am thinking of changing some middle names, plus I am thinking of a name for a new Kid I am getting at the end of the month. I was wondering if any of you would like to help me pick out some names? Here are the names as they are now:
Benjamin Zachary
Olivia June
Queen Marian
Mikkayla DinahI was thinking of changing Benjamin's name to Sebastian. What do you think of that combo? Sebastian Zachary. As for Olivia June, I honestly can't remember why I chose that for her middle name. She didn't even arrive in June. I was thinking maybe Jane as a possibility. I don't think we want a name that starts with a vowel.Queen Marian was named after the street where I got her from. Not very original, I know, but she's a different kind of Kid from what I usually collect. Marian is from that whole "Marian Librarian" thing, as the city's library is on Queen Street. Her middle name should be changed I think. Maybe to something more exotic, as she is different from the others. I definitely want to change Mikkayla's middle name. Embarrassingly I don't know why I chose Dinah. Some of the things we do! (shakes head)I was thinking of Victoria Alexandra for my new Kid. So, what do you think? Any name ideas?

UPDATE Re: Thinking of Names...Opinions welcome! :)I was thinking of these names:Queen Maria (Muh Rye Ah), after that sweet Maria Lucas in Pride and Prejudice. Mikkayla Diana. Or is that too unoriginal?Olivia Jane. Or is that too plain?

(Muh Rye Ah) is spelled Mariah to me... and that is a lovely name.
Otherwise, I personally like Marion a lot. It reminds me of a fav of mine (Clarion). Mikkayla Danae is better. Olivia June is far superior to Olivia Jane.

Danae is pretty, and I've always loved the Greek Names. How do you pronounce it though? Is it pronounced like Dana?

Don't know for sure how to pronounce it but I would imagine it would be similar to Janae. Which I pronounce JA-nay

Exactly... dah-nay. That and Janae always make pretty middle names I think.
Never really considered them as firsts (though my brain is now, look for a post!)Danan (i.e. Elora Danan) would make a decent alternative, but I would go with Danae.

When it comes to the name June, I believe that I can come up with something a bit better than that. There are names here like Ayla, Freya, Titania, and yet all I can come up with is June? Come on! LOL I agree with you about Jane being plain. I was thinking of Jane because of Jane Austen and the character in Pride and Prejudice, that's all. I think I may look at some Old Norse names for her middle name, as Olivia has Old Norse roots as well as Germanic.
