Hermione - I used to love this and I do like the HP character, but it has almost become too popular.
Lillian - typical grandma name in Sweden.
Gwendolen - used to hate it, but now I find it quite nice.
Ruth - harsh.
Gwen - it's OK.
Isadora - all I can think of is that Isadora Duncan hated cats...
Elowen - beautiful.
Ayla - sounds like the Icelandic word for puking (aela).
Vivienne - it's nice.
Zelda - my brother's cat's name, so I like it for a cat.
Linnéa - it's rather common here. It's nice.
Dorothy - a bit too frumpy; prefer Dorothea.
Emilia - sweet.
Ophelia - love it.
Wilhelmina - beautiful.
Eleanora - queenly.
Juniper - love it.
Wren - love it.
Guinevere - very beautiful.
Cecily - cute.
Emmeline - love it.
Josephine - like the English pr., but it sounds too sugar-sweet in Swedish.
Miranda - sweet.
Zosia - nms.(m)
Henry - like it.
Tristan - prefer Tristram.
Theodore - nice.
Rhys - makes me think of rice.
Julian - yes!
Lucian - very nice.
Rupert - nmsaa.

Hermione - trying much too hard
Lillian - dislike all Lily names; prefer Lilian but not enough to say I like it
Gwendolen - dislike
Ruth - I'd name a daughter Ruth in a heartbeat
Gwen - dislike
Isadora - dislike
Elowen - a one-owner name
Ayla - dislike
Vivienne - prefer Vivien but not enough to use; Viv is unattractive
Zelda - unattractive
Linnéa - dislike most Lin- names, and distrust diacritals
Dorothy - lovely; I'd use it
Emilia - too frilly; far prefer Emily
Ophelia - a one-owner name
Wilhelmina - there's just so much of it!
Eleanora - ornate; prefer Eleanor or Elinor
Juniper - silly
Wren - not a fave; I do like Rentia!
Guinevere - prefer the less fancy Jennifer
Cecily - would use in an instant
Emmeline - too frilly; far prefer Emily
Josephine - nice; prefer Joseph for a boy
Miranda - lovely, except for the risk of Randy
Zosia - unattractiveHenry - nah; really so boring I could fall asleep right now
Tristan - sounds good but the wrong vibe somehow
Theodore - attractively retro
Rhys - very pleasant and not trending where I live
Julian - the nicest of the Jul- names for either gender
Lucian - prefer Lucy for a girl
Rupert - prefer Robert; less cartoon beary

Ophelia, Linnéa and Isadora are names I would consider using in real life.
I don't really see the appeal of Gwen (and the longer versions), Dorothy or Ayla. Zosia is freaky. There's something about the combination of letters that messes with my brain. I can't really pronounce it right. Not surprised by the boy names. Henry seems to be a constant favorite here on BtN. Theodore as well. I think it's a nice list. Not really a fan of Rupert, though.

I love the name Hermione. I also like Wilhelmina but I prefer Minnie.I Aldo like the name Rhys (It's one of my cousin's names)

Vivienne, Zelda and Emmeline would be further up in the list for me.I agree with most of the boys, only I'd put Tristan towards the bottom and Julian further up.

Ayla (But with a different spelling: Aella)
Zelda
Linnéa (Again with a different spelling: Linnaea)

GuinevereTristan
Theodore
Julian

How are you pronouncing Ayla, AY-lah or EYE-lah (like Isla)? Not that people voting for it would know, but I'm curious. :-pFavorites (apparently I like the letter N):
Lillian
Elowen
Vivienne
Linnea
Emilia
Wilhelmina
Emmeline
Josephine
Miranda
(Zosia, but not as a full name)
HenryI also love Eleonora but am not too keen on Eleanora.Least favorites (I've *ed the ones I'm surprised were rated so well):
Hermione
Gwendolen / Gwen / Guinevere (really not a fan of the gw- sound)
Ruth*
Zelda
Dorothy*
Ophelia
Juniper (like it on theory, think it's ridiculous in practice)
Wren (ditto)
Tristan
Rhys
Julian
Lucian
Rupert******

If I may be so bold...what in the world are Hermione, Zelda, Wilhelmina, Tristan and Lucian doing in there?? I do love Dorothy, Juniper, Josephine, and Rhys though.Glad to see Rupert and Ruth getting some love.

Zelda, Zosia Gwendolen and Guinevere are probably the ones I like the least. Both Zelda and Zosia are interesting but for me not ones that I would ever use. I don't why but I have never been a fan of Gwendolen or Guinevere just never appealed to me in any way. All the other names I think are fantastic.

ZosiaZosia is the one that stands out for me, not that I think it a bad name; the sound just isn't appealing to my ear (I tend not to go for prominent "shuh" sounds). It also feels quite a lot more exotic than your other highly-rated names.I love or like everything else, mostly love. :)

Zosia is definitely the odd one out in the list, I agree; she maybe fits a little better as part of my full PNL. Thank you!

I hate these names:Rupert- Wimpy white bear. Why is he so skinny, anyway? Is he anorexic? I've never seen a damn BEAR be so skinny before. Stupid.
Rhys- It's insubstantial and weak. I hear it and forget about it instantly.Juniper- I don't want to use Jennifer because it's too common! I know, let's use Juniper! That's totally different and not annoying at all! :-D
Elowen- Reeks of Middle Earth. I'm not a fan of Middle Earth type names. The others, I can take or leave.

Hey! Bears come in all different shapes and sizes ;) If Jennifer weren't so painfully overused and dated, it would probably be amongst my favourites. Perhaps that really is why I'm so fond of Juniper.

I still like the sound of Jennifer more than Juniper, popularity be damned. Juniper sounds oddly clipped to me; Jennifer has a better flow.Sorry I body-shamed the bear. I should be more sensitive. ;)

I always thought he looked a little too close to a Grateful Dead bear

Juniper's sound definitely took some time to grow on me, so I can see where you're coming from :)
