I don’t mind Afton / am neutral about it. I like Anniston and it has a similar vibe. I wouldn’t use a middle name that begins with another vowel, particularly another A, it’s too awkward. I think it needs a modernish and almost-frilly middle name.

Dont like it at all

I quite like it. I used it for one of my characters (even though he's a male).
As for combo opinions however, I like Afton Ursula.

It is too close to "After" which is the German word for "anus". But even if I try to forget about that it just doesn't sound nice and doesn't have any good nicknames.

I like it with Beatrice, Cecily, Cordelia, Eloise, Emily, Isabeau, Rosalie and Rosemary. In all cases, I'd prefer Afton as the middle name, but that's just me. I'm sorry you omitted Mary!
