In my opinion these have the potential to become popular in the US:
IslaTheaFreya
They all fit in with the two-syllable, A-ending trend (
Mila,
Ava,
Ella,
Clara,
Luna,
Maya etc.).
AliceHarperEmiliaScarlettWillow
-> some of these are more common in the US, aren't they?
Harper and
Scarlett are crazy common and
Alice,
Willow and
Emilia are rising. So I don't think they should be even more common :P
Phoebe
this really should be more common because it fits in with the trend that was at its most fashionable a couple of years ago (
Zoe,
Chloe) but it had a lot of exposure (popular TV show Friends etc.) and still didn't catch on so I doubt it will get more common.
Martha
I think this will have a comeback very soon.
I don't think these will rise a lot:
Harriet - might rise a bit but I guess
Hattie has a better chance
Imogen - I just don't see it, can't even say why
Poppy - I think it will get more common but I don't see it in the top 100
Sienna - too associated with the actress
Zara - too close to 80s favorite Sarah/Sara
Florence - I guess a bit too old fashioned
Millie - too insubstantial
Lottie - already so many Charlottes and the US isn't as much into the nickname name trend as England
Darcie - maybe as
Darcy. But Darcie? It looks really strange.
