[Opinions] Modern American Cliche names
For a story I'm writing, I need names for a little boy and a little girl, and for a contrast with other characters, I want names that are very cliche modern American. I think I'm going to name the boy Matthew. The girl, though, is where I am problems. I'm thinking about Hailey or Hannah or Emma or something...I'm not sure I like Madison or Isabel because, though they're cliche, they still sound a little more exotic, you know? Any ideas? Thanks,
Nadiaps Yes, I made a poll about this too, but just humor me =)

It's just an object. It doesn't mean what you think

Jacob and Emily...those are really American and really popular now. (Maybe cliche? I don't know)Of the ones you listed, I'd vote for Hailey. I haven't run into many Emmas here, and Hannah isn't as popular as Hailey.

Definitely Emily or Sarah, for common, and more on the classic side. For more on the trendy side, but also extremely common, then go with Kaitlyn/Catelyn, etc. or something like Ashley, Brianna, Lauren, etc. GL!

When I think of modern American cliche names, Jacob and Emily come to mind because everywhere I go I hear several Jacobs and Emilys. If you'd like to get an idea of the top names in the United States, go to this website:http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/There are several ways you can search if you scroll towards the bottom of the page. _____
