Leon is okay. Somehow I can't quite shake the used-car-sales-man vibe though. Weird. Personally, I think Leopold is great and goes much better with DAphne, Winifred, Theodore and Ignatius than Leon does.

I'm warming up to Leon, too. It's not a name I ever paid much attention to in the past, but lately I can see its good qualities. Leon Everett
Leon Abel
Leon Timothy

Leon SamuelI think Leopold would actually be a better fit with Daphne, Winifred, Theodore, and Ignatius than Leon. To me, Leon has a different vibe, more plain spoken and blue collar, than the others.

I like it ONLY if there is an accent aigu: Léon.

thats good in theory.. in practice it will never work. No one bothers with those in Australia. I had a student Zoe with the dotsn over the e. No one ever did it and by the time she got to high school she had dropped them herself.

I really like it. It fits in with the other names, but I think that Theodore and Leon are a bit too close for brothers. If you used the nickname Ted or Teddy rather than Theo or Theodore without a nickname, then it would be less problematic, of course. Much as I like Theo and Leo, I dislike rhyming sibling names, nicknames included.Middle name ideas:
Leon Seth
Leon Victor
Leon Maxwell
Leon Wilfred
Leon Willis
Leon Marcus
Leon Magnus
Leon Miro
Leon Sidney
Leon Arthur
Leon Avery
Leon Charles
Leon Charlot
Leon Charlie
Leon Jasper
Leon Jude
Leon Icarus
Leon Ward
Leon Patrick
Leon Raymond
Leon Walter
Leon Ferdinand
Leon Frederick

Interesting. I think of Leon as more "old." I've heard it referred to as an "old man" name at least once.
