Help with my boys list, please
Names are a regular topic in conversation with my boyfriend recently and while we can agree on most girls name I'm starting to feel lost with boys.Here are some names I've put to him and he's vetoed; reasons when given I've put in brackets:
Tobias
Clark
Tennyson [too "out-there"]
Marshall [sounds like Martian]
Isaac
Caleb
Atticus
Beckett [sounds feminine]
Albert
Arthur
Cade / Kade
Enzo [too foreign]
ReubenNames I've put to him and he's either liked or found tolerable:
Sebastian
Edmund
Jenson
CassidyThe only other name he's shown any interest in is Allen; but I'm not a massive fan.Babies are a few years off at least for us but I'm sure you can all appreciate that I'm the type of person who just likes to know and plan.Check out my PNL for other names that I love but haven't told him about yet - http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/117870?sort=gender&pop=ewAny suggestions will be amazing. Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

Of your names I like* Clark - maybe a little dated though... a lovely middle name though
* Beckett - doesn't sound feminine to me at all!
* Cade - prefer this one, because Kade looks too much like Kate
* Jenson - is alright, but not my favorite, because it looks made-up* Alexander
* Camden
* Carson
* Damian
* Devon
* Elijah - definitely my favorite!!!
* Evan
* Finn
* Henry
* Lewis
* Quinn - probably as a middle name only
* Theo

Wow, thank you for all the suggestions! We like Jenson because of Jenson Button too! :-)I like:Raphael - I think the nickname Raf or Rafa is cool, unfortunately SO associates it with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which he adores but I don't like the association myself.Rafferty - As with Raphael I like the nickname possibilities of Raf and Rafa. Not sure if SO would go for it as it's a surname name.Ellis - I like this but not sure if I love it; it could definitely grow on me though.Tobin - an alternative to my love Tobias that I could get used to now SO's vetoed Tobias. Not sure on the "bin" sound at the end though.Theodore - on my list, I like the nickname Theo and SO has mentioned liking Ted (not sure if he was being sarcastic though), it could work as a compromise.Asher - Also on my list, I love the nickname Ash, again with it being a surname not sure if he'd agree.Flynn - Slightly prefer Finn but SO has vetoed that also, may be too trendy for us but it's one that I wouldn't mind mentioning.Thank you very much :-)

Gregory has been called by my sister, I'm not sold on it, and I'm respecting her call since she isn't as nerdy on names as me.Thanks for all your suggestions! Theodore and Roman are on my list; SO's mentioned liking Ted so maybe Theodore could be an option although I'd call him Theo as I really dislike Ted. Sylvester also caught my eye, I like the idea of the nickname Silver although I'm not sure if it too unusual for him.
