Thank you so much for these terrific kids!Ava and Ellie are doing great so far. The girls adjusted very quickly. We have enrolled them in a daycare/preschool program and they are just thriving. They have made lots of new friends and are quite the social butterflies.Dean, too, is doing great. He has bonded well with all three of his new brothers, but has become especially close with Samuel. Dean and Sam, who now share a room, spend hours playing with their toy cars in the bedroom. Lance and Aidan have also been teaching Dean some new football tricks. And, Dean loves having dogs to play with and Oscar and Chaz have taken quite a liking to Dean.Thank you again for these kids.

Update and pictures!Melissa and Samuel Rowan have:
David, Ursula, Simon and Raisa!David is now eight, and has really settled in with us. He is in Year Three at school and is keeping up well with his other classmates. We have enrolled him in a soccer club, and he has made lots of frinds quickly.Ursula and Simon wre a little shy at first, but have now settled into the family - and Nyla, too! Ursula is a joy to care for - she is cheerful and helpful, especially when it comes to caring for the cats. She is doing very well in school and will be going to dance camp this summer. Simon is getting along very well with his adoptive brother David, and his teachers tell us that he is very popular at school! They have spoken to their parents on the phone and Ursula has written to them several times. We are planning to visit them in the Philippines next summer.Raisa was a little wary of us at first, but now is becoming a wonderful member of the family. She has learnt English very well, and is catching up well with the other members of her class at school. We have found a local mosque for her to attend, and she has made friends there as well. Thank you so much for these wonderful children!

Thank you for these four wonderful people. A year has gone by and everyone is doing well and finally adjusted. Both Murad and Imani call their parents once every one or two weeks and the family is going to go on a family trip to Egypt soon, where Murad and Imani will be able to see their biological family again. Sethunya was very shy at first, but she has warmed up to our family and is no longer shy around them. She is however still shy around people she does not know very well. George is doing good and has recently joined a kid basketball team. Murad, Imani, and Sethunya all got to pick middle names also. Sethunya, after much thought, picked Asha which is an African name, but is also easy for Americans to say. Murad picked Sean since it an Egyptian mythology name but also easy to say. Imani has recently started to love Greek Mythology so she picked Athena. Thank you again for these four wonderful people. We look forward to making our family even bigger in the future
