[Opinions] Valerie
I've always thought Valerie was really pretty, but never considered using it because I have a friend named Valerie. I've been thinking about it a lot lately, so I was wondering what everyone thought of it. Also, any good MN or FN ideas? Thanks! :)

I love Valerie! I like that it comes from an era of names that aren't used much anymore, so a child named this today would probably be the only one. I also love the NN Vallie (or Valli, or Vally). In fact, I like Valley as a given name. Here are some combos I quite like:Valerie Ophelia
Valerie Malina
Valerie Kate
Valerie Claire
Valerie Anise
Valerie Solenne
Valerie Jane
Valerie Harper
Valerie Winter
Valerie Sophia
Valerie Opal
Valerie Mattea
Valerie Noelle - Love this!
Valerie Lucine
Valerie Justine
Valerie Katharine
Valerie Joanna
Valerie Iris
Valerie Faye
Valerie Delphine
Valerie Charis
Valerie Cassandra

My name is Ariel Valerie. I wouldn't say it flows well, but both names are quite pretty. And quite oddly, Valerie honors an old friend of my mom's.Brynn Valerie or Valerie Eira would be cool.

I've always thought Valerie just had such a pretty sound! The name looks cute but elegant at the same time, IMO. Valerie Grace
Valerie Kendall
Valerie Charlotte
Valerie Sarah

It's pretty and has a nice meaning.
I doubt whether many people under 60 have it so having been neglected for so long it seems ripe for renewal!
I like
Valerie Frances
Valerie Helen
Valerie Pearl

It's not the kind of name I'd use, but it's very pretty. I associate it straight away to RoxStar's daughter.

I find it very old-ladyish but that's France...

I think it's wonderful--I associate it immediately with the character in V for Vendetta, and then with a little girl I used to babysit. :)Valerie Brynn
