Help[Opinions] What do you think about my daughter's name?
Hi beautiful people here!
My little girl was born in the Valentine's Day(2.14) 2015, we are trying to give her an English name now.
We have a few choices from her reading and Barbie shows which she chose for herself, I want you guys to give some opinions on the compatibility of these names and our family name Chan, as well as the compatibility with her personality!
She is a bold little angel who's a bit bossy and assertive since very young, which makes so many young kids attracted to her.
The name choices we have now are, Antonia Chan, Octavia Chan, Gaia Chan. These names mostly come from Latin, East Europe because she loves those cultures and she's learning Russian, German and Italian now. I think Antonia may sound a bit cute but not too formal for her strong personality, Octavia may be a bit hard pronounce, Gaia sounds way too simple and Random and may conflict with the surname Chan. Of course, my opinions are extremely unprofessional, what's your guys' thoughts? Maybe more beautiful names will be better! Maybe some names meaning the Valentine's Day, number 2, girl-boss or multi-cultural girls?

What is the list that she personally chose for herself? I am interested in seeing what she likes, and then selecting the best name from there.

Maybe something romantic? I think Valentina is perfect, because it both sounds strong AND means strong. Perhaps Carina, for the CC alliteration. Freya is the Norse goddess of love and beauty.
Valentina Chan (sounds like a fashion designer! Very elegant)
Carina Chan (like an actress I think)
Freya Chan (sweet while also being strong!)

I like Antonia best! Antonia is not too formal but it is a good "full" name, and she could be called Ana, Ani, or Annie for a more informal nickname. Annie Chan sounds cute.
Octavia sounds nice but it is very formal and doesn't really have a nickname.
I love the name Gaia but I agree it's a little too simple and doesn't sound as good with Chan.

Antonia is adorable! I love how it flows with your family name, Chan. It’s bold, elegant, and has plenty of nickname opportunities if you or your daughter want that, yet none that are so obvious it would get automatically shortened. Way to go for the little miss, she sounds like an absolute boss. 😁

Antonia is the best of the three, I think. Gaia is easily mispronounced and Octavia is unusual enough to stand out, but Antonia should work just fine in multiple languages and countries.
Another idea, to link with her birth date, could be names with "love" meanings:

Cara
Carina
Kerensa
Davida
Davina
Esme
Mabel
Minna
Philomena
You could also use Valentina!

Rose, Violet, Clover, Daisy, Lily, Azalea, Camellia, Marigold, Celandine, Dahlia, Heather, Iris, Jonquil, Lavender, Lilac, Tansy, Zinnia
Susannah (means 'lily' or 'rose')
Anthea (means 'flower' or 'blossom')
Flora (means 'flower')
Zahrah (means 'blooming flower')
Dulcie (means 'sweet')
Pamela (means 'all sweetness')

Valentine's Day is also close to Candlemas, which is associated with St Brigdet, so you could use Bridget or Brigit.

I like Antonia the best, since it’s very culturally diverse! I especially like that you have many nickname options, as well.
Maybe Cara? It comes from the Italian word meaning love, according to this site. I don’t think it sounds badly with Chan, and it reminds me of the English word “caring”. Oh, you could also use Karina!
