Winifred
WDYT of Winifred? Personally, I think it's sweet but sassy, but that's just me. What would you pair her with? Thanks in advance!

I've been thinking about this one a lot lately! I think I like it. The only part that's bothering me is the "Fred" at the end.

The "fred" part doesn't really bother me, mostly because I know that this is an Anglicization of a Welsh name.

Not really a fan, but the meanings are good and Winnie is a cute nn... Needs something not as old feeling to balance it out (Winnifred makes many people think old lady, I think)...

I like Leona, Melinda, and Jessamine. I do agree that Winifred can feel very old-ladyish.

I love Winifred! It's definitely within my top ten. I don't get a sassy vibe from it, though- just buttoned-up. I don't love the nickname Winnie, though, which is the only drawback for me.I think I'd pair her with an equally buttoned-up name, or I'd pair her with something completely opposite.

I'm sorry, but I really don't like it. It sounds like Whinny-Fred to me, and just not at all feminine or pleasant. It also sounds really dated.

I think Winifred is nice. It has a great meaning, and Winnie is a pretty cute nickname. I would probably do Winifred Jane. The main character in the book/movie Tuck Everlasting is named Winifred Foster.

I still find it a bit too old fashioned. Also the "fred" part gives me a masculine vibe. It doesn't help that I dislike most of the nicknames for Winifred.

I like Winnie as a nickname.

I like it. It's very sweet, but yes it does have a bit of sass as well. And it has some great nickname options. Winnie. Freddie. Wendy! Winifred Charlotte
Winifred Amelia
Winifred Emily
Winifred Guinevere
Winifred Ursula

How could I have forgotten Ursula? (*forehead slap*) It's perfect with Winifred. Nicely done, all around. :-D
